how do you get the clips for these videos to work with?

I've been looking all over for them

I had downloaded an ogm file of the movie. I converted it into divx without subs and opened the divx file in windows movie maker. Movie maker automatically divided it into clips.

But that was over 2 years ago. Now, I would rip the dvd, or just use the ogm file (or any type of file with softsubs), so I can get clips without subs. Convert it into avi and use avisplitter to cut clips from the movie and edit it with adobe premier pro or sony vegas pro.

I think the film is the first anime that makes me cry. A real tragic story with small kids bearing all faults of the adults during the WW2. The only thing I could feel grateful for the small girl is that she'd shared the loving careness of her older brother thru' all the hardship of the pity life.

This is a very well-done AMV. Grave of the Fireflies is probably one of the most intense tragedies that's ever been committed to film, and you choice of music (being a music student myself) was perfect. Well-done!

Her death was caused by malnutrition. It wasn't really my intention to show the storyline of the movie, but rather the innocence of the girl and her relationship with her brother. You haven't seen the movie yet? You really should! It's beautiful!
