@architectus777 lol its not really hentai its more of an ecchi thing, has around 4 episodes both eng and jap is out and u can download it. its actually pretty funny
You need to have very good knowledge of the anatomy before u start doing gestures.
Get some book with good skeleton / muscle models and analyze Your drawings, there's no rush, U need to understand how human body works before U'r doing speedpaints, otherwise U'll develop bad / incorrect habits, which is very bad thing.
i do this to practice a bunch for 20 to 30m mintues but.... i feel im not getting any better or getting anywhere, dont know if doing it right or wrong
I see a lot of people starting with "stick figures". I can't. I have to use more of a rounded bubble person kinda thing. I find stick figures to be too "2-D" . It makes it hard for me to think of it as a 3-D form. One big thing for me is erasing. I always have issues erasing. I'm lazy, so I tend to hate erasing and re-drawing. But it's definitely better to erase and re-draw, than have it look wrong. Especially digitally, cuz it's so easy to do. Erase a limb, and just draw it differently.
This is a great tutorial. I want to learn how to draw but I get frustrated really fast when my drawing doesn't turn out right. That was some good advice when you spoke about building images up in your brain.
haha....haha.....you said breast lol......jk jk lol.....but thanks man i've been wanting to know how to start to draw my own anime characters for a long ass time!

@spartano305 you probably are. Observe a lot. You'll see progress. The key to becoming good at anything is practice anyways.
