sometimes it great to find a "hidden treasure"...BUT THIS AINT IT.....This tune sucks......cant believe they are the same band that produced Liar Liar...
The Castaways were from the Twin Cities of Minneapolis & St, Paul MN, who are best known for "Liar Liar". Members include James Donna, keyboard; Robert Folschow & Dick Roby, guitar; Roy Hensley, bass (who died in 2005); & drummer Denny Craswell (who later joined another successful band, Crow).
''60's punk classic'' and ''very charming pop song'', these two do not go in the same sentance. This is 60's beat and doesn't have shit to do with punk.
Personally, I have to say that this is why some groups are called One Hit Wonders.

Gosh - i just noticed the Shangri-Las dancing (jerking) to this at the end! Also, was that the guy from the Newbeats? (Bread and Butter)...

@thecountofbasie Sorry, I guess my mind didn't work too good when I wrote this. I have their follower up stored somewhere.

@KoivuTheHab And I didn't write that in the same sentence. Maybe you should check your English. Or at least your bad attitude.

God I love this song. Surprising it never got more airplay. Pre-punk brilliance from the great Castaways!
