My son is in fourth grade and has never had problems with the fact that he has two dads. I think because we live in northern CA. here people are more educated about diversity and are less scared of it.

@SmilingMelvin Why is your question relevant? The woman who gave birth to the kid didn't keep her. Thank goodness there are people like these guys out there who are stable in their relationship and other facets of their lives enough to give a loving home to a kid. Do you condemn a straight couple who adopts a kid? I'm sure if you respond, you'll list all your objections to homosexuality, but save it. All of such arguments are fallacious and/or based on simple prejudice.

Both your kids are adorable, and you guys are such wonderful fathers. You have expanded my reality in terms of what "family" means. While I've know gay families are out there and can exist, I've never seen any "in action" as it were, and it always seemed to be an abstract theoretical concept having never known any. You put a face to gay families, and it's a beautiful and exemplary one. Again I want to thank you for that. You're a great example of a "gay family" and also "family" period.

in argentina (i don't know about other countries) we clap AS we sing happy birthday AND when the song ends. sometimes the song even picks up speed as it is sung. i still can't get used to hearing a clap-less happy birthday. haha ps nice video!

The only thing confusing to kids is the hate and bigotry that people like you put into the world. God has a sense of humer my father was really homophobic and three out of his five kids are gay. I hope some day when one of your kids come out to you that you will rethink that statement

I am a gay man with two children, both grown and both heterosexual. They have always known I'm gay. My son is married and has two babies. He is following a path similar to his older sister and becoming an attorney. I loved being Daddy, and I love being Grandpa. Neither of my children seems confused. Both did well in school, didn't get in trouble, and still hug and kiss me as their dad.

Yes, trailer kids who are 16 and on drugs can have kids like *THAT*, but for gay couples, it's a struggle and sometimes impossible. How bigoted some folks are, and how much they obviously don't care about kids who need loving homes.
