Erin, I am surprised you allow your knees to go over your toes. I guess if you learnt it that way there is no point in changing now as your muscles get used to your technique. If I have bad knees, do you have any recommendations for me?
@Sometallpersonality yeah try to keep your shin as vertical as possible by moving your foot position forward and descending in a "sitting back" motion rather than just straight down
Yes you can do that. This will lessen the contraction and stretch of the quads and put more onto the glutes. If you go to the extreme where the foot is really far forward, then you'll simulate hamstring movement.
