@Kenny3821 In my community it is actually the opposite. WF and AM. Yeah there are quite a few even more visible than AF WM. Usually I hear of something with AM WF that the AM feels like he is not Asian and is more attracted to WF because of his upbringing. For example born and raised in Ohio or Newport Beach, Ca. Who knows what is the psychological reason for their decisions. That is their life. Focus on your life.

Airfare from Japan to the US is at least $1,500 these days. She's going to drop $10,000 to fly these people to the US and live in NY when they're already in southern Japan (where there has been no increase in radiation). She could rent them an apartment for a year with that money and they could stay in their home country. Seems like a terrible solution.

I live in central Japan and had a BBQ yesterday. This woman has been in the US for too long.

I'm currently working with two Japan-based non-profit organizations. We're encouraging as many people as possible to leave Japan, or to at least get as far away from the Fukushima nuclear plant as possible. As for those who can't do so, we're encouraging them to be as prepared as possible by educating themselves about the dangers of radiation and packing emergency kits that will help to protect them and/or allow them leave as quickly as possible if the worst does happen.
