I just can't understand how this movie didn't do so well. when I think of the 90s and high school this movie is up there with Hackers, Clueless, Empire Records, and Reality Bites. Plus the soundtrack is awesome - I still listen to it today on my ipod.

They only thing that annoys me about this movie, is all the bashing it gets. When they were showing it at a local movie theater, the review in the local newspaper was short and basically was explaining what a riot gurrrl was, and then suddenly at the end it just said, "FUCK THIS MOVIE." The critics at the local newspaper can be complete hipster douches sometimes, especially at that point.

Basically not a bad movie, certainly not perfect, but kinda fun in my opinion.
