It seems to me that they started talking about removing any sort of chemical or radiation residue but then the guys latched onto the idea of radiation from all things from Krypton. Because Superman was not hit by the radiation from the explosion from Krypton, he isn't a carrier nor have his clothes been hit by the radiation from Krypton, meaning his sweat isn't radioactive as the guys seem to think it is.
Following the events of War of the Supermen, I don't think Superman would have to worry about any invites from Kandor...pre-new-52 that is...
