Very interesting interview. I'll have to get Rose Marie's book. What a career Rose Marie has had. Yep, she wasn't kidding about that BIG voice she had as Baby Rose Marie. If you get a chance, watch that video too. Rose Marie was gifted with big talent, but the reason she became a big star I believe is she has that loveability factor. You know what I mean. Not every star has it. She connects with people, you just can't help to love her.

I like she said she had a happy normal childhood. I didn't, and I didn't get to be a child star. It isn't show biz, per se that ruins a child's life -- it is the bad people surrounding them that did it. I could have had happniess and would not now be poor and homeless. I could have been a child star, too! I am glad she did this interview. This is a great little series. Thanks for creating these. Phyllis Diller is another great one! She did a series for some other entity

I remember her from the Dick Van Dyke show with Mary Taylor Moore. She worked with Van Dyke, and it was in black and white.
