  • Nice video and amazing playing! I'm a Junior in high school right now and I'm looking to play college tennis. What would you say is the best way for colleges to notice me? Recruitment videos? Phone calls? Coming to watch me play? Thanks for the help!

  • @Vapor419 If you're good enough to where some coaches are sending you emails/letters, you're in good shape. If you want attentions from coaches of university where you really want to go to (but they haven't looked at you yet), you need to email him about you (GPA, SAT, Ranking, Highlights, etc.) they cannot get back to you till June 1st (I think) because of NCAA rule so don't worry if they don't email you back. I hope that helps.

  • Hey sunago you are a professional ?

  • did u end up getting recruited?

  • @coochee96 yes. i play for the university of nevada!

  • @sunagotennis1993 NICE!!!

  • @coochee96 can you explain the college recruitment process?

  • @coochee96 college recruitment process begins when you're in junior in high school. actual phone calls (more official recruiting things) begins after june or july 1st, after your junior year (summer break between junior and senior). what i did was, i sent out emails to coaches of universities that i was interested in (january or february of junior year). some will reply, most didn't :( if you're an amazing player, many colleges will start to look at you before junior year

  • @coochee96 when you're in your senior year, coaches will bring you into official visits. if the coach likes you and you liked the school, team, etc. you will sign on either early signing period (mid november) or late signing period (from mid march till august i think). it is very rare to sign in early signing period because it is only about a week, and it is very difficult to get everything together between june/july till november.

I hope that helped! let me know if you have more questions

  • What is your string tension?? By the sound of it, i'm guessing on the high end

  • @iGo0ch back then I used to string my rackets at 48 pounds. It made the sound because my racket head was 90 square inches. Thanks for the comment
