Colleen has competed against NZ dancers ~ they joined the Scottish official Board many years ago. Colleen has beaten everyone she has ever danced against ~ she is the best and most all around dancer we have seen thus far, which is why she is 10 time World Champion.

Colleen is a 10 time World Champion. Some of the New Zealand dancers dance under different rules and regulations than Colleen, who dances under the SOBHD. ALSO, one of our current (2009) World Champions, Morgan Bamford, is from New Zealand.

err yes it is highland (scotland) dancing it is the shean traus it is mainly girls dance because boys get such a hard time for dancing at school though because of their dancing the are probably fitter than most boys i danced as a child and my mother taught highland dancing which i loved and this video was fantastic

Certainly NOT highland (Scotland) Dancing, interesting sport though. No one ever danced like this Highlands of Scotland. Strange to think why girls are doing pastiches of traditional mens dance, I don't see any men doing any type of traditional womens dance of Scotland.

AMAZING! She is so inspirational. I actually got to have her teach me at a week-long dance camp two years ago and she seems like such an honest, humble person. She said she used to do her hair like me at competitions =D so I was happy haha.
