Our vacation house is a just block away from this castle house. That castle has a swimming pool on top. Most of the houses here in this estate are vacation homes only but they are huge. Cool climate all year round and Taal Lake is just across the street from the estate. I used to go on long trips away from Manila with my family members, but since we built a vacation house here, we seldom go far places anymore. This place is like a resort ...it has a country club with golf course.
I am fortunate to have a place here...all came from hard work & knowing how to budget, save & invest (thanks to my accounting/financial mgt. classes. This is quite a safe place to live or vacation. People are very, very polite & courteous regardless of celebrity/economic status. BTW, this place is called ROYALE TAGAYTAY ESTATE.
What a surprise to see this castle fortress like home in the Philippines! It looks better suited to Scotland or the English moors. Very interesting and it would be fascinating to learn the background of this building. I am sure that this castle could stand up to any typhoon! Thanks for the posting.
