The Arding & Hobbs ad looks older than 1986. I see that ASDA had adopted their current logo, or something very similar, by this time - it was still the old one in 1984.
In 1984 the old 1970's Asda logo still kept until 1985 when the new ASDA logo was introduced is it 1985 or 1986 when the new ASDA logo was introduced?
I live in Clapham Junction and Arding and Hobbs is now Debanams.

The Heinekin Advert has Bob Saker doing his Bing Crosby impression and Clare Torry on harmony vocals.
The MacDonalds ad. has Madeline Bell doing the vocal.

Those kids from the Coke ads were liars, they're old enough to be in charge now and it's rubbish.

Maybe that's from drinking all that caffeine that in a Coke, LOL!
Personally, it was rubbish back then and it's rubbish now, no much different.

JayFirestorm on this ASDA Advert why are they using the current ASDA logo?
chao772 4 years ago
Because they're still using the same logo (although without the coloured triangles)

I wouldn't go quite that far, not on ads from this late on. Some British ads from the 1970s do look like that, though.

I have only seen the Coca Cola ad from 1989. It obviously ran for three years before I noticed it!

The recordings definately 1986 - I still have the TV Times, and even checked the teletext date on the tape.
