Lol! Did you just compare this to FFVII? Don't get me wrong, I love FFVII...but these games are nothing alike in terms of the combat system! FFVII uses a traditional turn based rpg system while this uses a real time action system in a 2D environment. Instead of blindly insulting games show some respect to the artists that worked hard on this game.

nya, I has odin sphere. My god, it's pretty, but getting an S rank for each stage is a nightmare. BTW: first timers, beware when the time comes to change characters, your so used to someone (eg, gwendolyn) that the next book's chara (eg. cornelius) is a little difficult to control.

Personally I liked them both, but I prefered Odin Sphere because the storyline was much better developed. Yes, some of the cutscenes were a bit melodramatic, but it sure beats a story with very little depth like you got from Momohime (although Kisuke's story more than made up for that).

if your good at the game, you can beat it in a week of solid playing, probably less. but if you gotta study and you've never played it id say it would take a month at least. (There are five storylines, one after another, and the game is not easy.)

A sad but beautiful tale, wonderfully composed music, unparalleled character development, and and a plot as deep and epic as one could ever ask for... This is on par with FF6 and Chrono Trigger when you first played it. You actually end up feeling for the characters. *tear drop*

It's more a "classic" beat'em all in wich you spend a lot of time dealing with all the items to gain levels and powers.

But certainly one of the most beautiful games I've ever seen. You must own it, along with Shadow of the Colossus and Okami ^^

The storyline plays like a stage play, and to me that's the way the battle goes. It's a beat 'em up, and you go from circle field, to another circle field, like as if you were on a stage and the backdrop was turning behind you. (But oh so prettier)
