There is no game music in the world that even comes close to what Squaresoft did from the early 90s to today. Nobuo Uematsu , although not the only great composer in Square, is pure genius. Did you know that he and former square sound department now run a heavy metal band called The Black Mages, that plays FF songs from throughout the whole series, adapted in metal? Sir Uematsu is playing keyboards brilliantly, and his comrades are just fine as well, making FF music even more awesome.
