@wbarco: If you like that kind of opera, then I would certainly recommend it. It's magic for the stage direction, they have been preparing and instructing a lot, but it was filmed life on stage on a public representation. The singers are great. The tension lasts for the entire piece, so don't stop in the middle to get chips :-) I think this opera and this film are milestones.
@Leorekab I've been meaning to buy the DVD after seeing a few clips of this opera on youtube, and liking a lot of saariaho's work. Would you recommend it?

What a beautiful atmosphere, sounds, mimic, light... I just bought the DVD.
Nice to know that there are others who like that kind of art.
