i love old nostalgia stuff like this. i use a windows 7 right now. my parents started with windows 3.1, then 95, xp, then vista (which is what they have now) when the xp crashed (vista sucks in my opinion, like 7 and xp way better) i remember when i was a kid i would play games on the windows 95 all the time. you can hear the computer running in the background even on this video. it's amazing how much quieter computers run nowadays. and of course windows 95 startup sound is a classic. love it.

If it was 10 years ago your CMOS Battery would have been totally dead. Date/Time would have been lost and it would have complained like mad about your BIOS Settings needing to be setup again. I dont think its 10 years... or maybe it is but other people have been switching it on in your absence.

LOL We had a computer with 95 on it in 2003. It was sad because the woman who worked for our Internet service felt bad and upgraded us to 98 for free, and then a few months later to Windows ME. Then that old computer FINALLY got too old and died and we got a new one with XP on it. Now we have a desktop with Vista and a laptop with 7. We have come a long way, lol, we have had all Windows OS's except 2000. :P

old stuff man,  try it 98 SE is more stable if you have P2 450 to P3 550mhz 512k L2 cache whit 256mb ram and 3dfx Vodoo3 3500 64mb try hitman, need for speed 3, half life 1 play whit Glide was much superior to the Direct3D renderer. and don't forget sound blaster live...

3 gb hard drive, and i believe 30 megs of ram. i know the hard drive space is 3 gigs for sure but im not sure about the ram. and i dont know if it has pentium 2.

@rickrollman129 try getting it re-imaged. That's when the hard drive is completely erased and set back to its original factory settings. If you do it, I suggest getting someone professional to do it.

These were not the "good old days" of computing, these were the worst days of computing. Win95 was a fucken nightmare. This OS would BSOD on you every chance it got. The good old days of computing were in the beginning and mid 80s: computers like the Amiga 500 and Atari ST.
