@dragononigiri Kanon is basically about Yuichi Aizawa who comes back to the city where Nayuki his cousin lives (The city is Moriguchi Japan. Funfacts) and encounters the various people he once knew and forgot. Amnesia is a recurring theme as are miracles. You could think of the anime as a slice of life fantasy.

Kanon is a really great anime, i was fixed on this anime a long time, but Clannad or Angel Beats had the same effect.

@BOYZOMO I only played Kanon and Clannad, and, even though I might get a lot of hate, I liked Kanon a dozen times more. I think it's just the general sadness and the winter setting....

I have sworn to myself that I'd only replay Kanon when it'd be winter again, simply because playing it in the middle of spring or summer would completly ruin the atmosphere.

technically kyoto animation makes the animes, but obviously they are heavily based on the games made by key/visual arts. And yes the animes are excellent, clannad has to be my favourite by quite a way, but kanon is nice as well

@steamkidsdad Key is the company that developed Kanon, Air, Clannad, Tomoyo After, Planetarian and Little buster. Clannad is the most famous Key project on both the Anime and VN versions. The animes of course are less quality than the VN since their are focused on only one ARC while taking pieces of the others. So if You can Read Jap go and play the games, if not, then watch the animes.
