Not everyone, even normal adults; are mature enough to own and operate a gun safely, as can be seen on youtube, by some idiots who have posted videos, where they have accidentally shot themselves, there cars, etc. Likewise, not everyone is mature enough to safely operate a car. I have had to yell at drivers that, I as a pedestrian have the right of way, while I am crossing in a crosswalk, in a school zone. Also, the fact the NRA would have Charlton Heston who made racist comments as president.

If someone's sugar goes way up, or possibly too low, they can act crazy, from silly to raging angry. By knowing the person is a diabetic, they can know better how deal with the person, & how to treat them. Having this in the data base, when they look up the person's gun license information, would be helpful. I have an Autistic brother, I wouldn't trust him with a BB gun let alone a real one, so why the NRA has this view that, everyone has a right to own a gun is beyond me.

The NRA lost my respect. My father was a life long member, & even he disagreed with them not wanting to do background checks. The NRA fought background checks, until someone tried to assassinate Regan. Still, they only check for major crimes, they don't check to see if you are mentally unstable, are taking medications that can make you depresses, can cause hallucinations, or personality changes. Hell, they should make note if someone is diabetic, so if they do go off, they know its due to that

The saddest part is that she is leaving office, probably her life long dream to serve her country as a representative to the people and there isn't a fucking word said about why she has to leave. A mentally deranged youth who wasn't able to seek help for his issues due to a shitty healthcare service was able to get an automatic weapon with a 30 shot clip that was easy to conceal. All because there isn't a party that will stand up to the NRA! Fuck the NRA!

@NorfolkPrince38 I own a gun but I had to have a background check and there is only a 4 bullet clip. It is a rifle I use to hunt and feed my family. No one needs a fucking glock or a 30 shot automatic concealable sub-machine gun! You are talking about the military that uses these weapons in a war-zone, not a 19 year old schitzo. He couldn't have killed her with a knife, they have bodyguards, nor would've the other people died in that shooting.

@NorfolkPrince38 The reason why the U.S has an astronomical number of homicides by guns (12x higher) compared to the rest of the world is solely the fault of the NRA. Our homicide rate rivals Columbia. Their advocation of gun ownership without question is what allows nut-jobs access to these guns in the first place. Ideas about armed revolutions against the government are the thoughts of Timothy McVeigh and need to be replaced with democratic revolutions like occupy wall street.

One that Loughner would have never been able to get anyways. Question is... where did he get the gun? Trust me i know how to make guns fully auto but thats not the point.

@NorfolkPrince38 Alot of weird evidence surrounds this story, and the Actual presence of REAL number stations in america and around the globe is quite weird. I get the feeling this guy was possessed at an early age, or the continued broadcast of number frequencies from russian, and US number stations maybe "clicked" him on and he went after the first target he could find, due to his decayed mental status when he CLICKED he was unable to determine the correct target and lost it.

@NorfolkPrince38 Oddly enough i found out about number stations through black ops. This kid had knowledge of them way before then and was even obsessed before the game was released. There are some underlying facts and issues we will never know about this. Im theorizing that this was a sick experiment conducted by forces unseen. Although remember its just a theory and its only human nature to question the official story. It was still tragic nonetheless.

@NorfolkPrince38 I get my information from the real world. The U.S has a homicide rate of 5.8 while the rest of "Western countries" are at 1 (/100,00) and leads in handgun related murders. You can be a deranged lunatic and still get an automatic assault rifle in this country. Combined with a wild west attitude and you get the current state of affairs. The people who sold it to him or sold him a modification kit should be held responsible for their actions. Thats what the law is for.
