Omg i love how the War Lion gets armor in T4. Plus WL are awesome haha. and WoW has horrible PvP and you have to level to level 80, soon 85 by doing quests? Well, what can I say. WoW has turned bad. I remember asking to join a Naxx 10 on my priest, as a healer. I even had naxx 25. The player who asked ran with greens, and guess what the answer was?
" Show me Ulduar 25 Achievements".

Well, I am strongly against WoW, from Personal reasons, but to be a little neutral:
WoW can not be done in 2 weeks, if you don't play.. 10 houres a day. My record is 8 days to 80, but ...
Wow and War is pretty much the same. Just different roads. War-Craft came from War-hammer, so both games got the very same base. Bu Warhammer went PvP, while WoW went addiction.
Then again, if they like wow.. let them play it, as long as they don't get brainwashed. Which most "fanboy" does.
Now I'm getting a bit curious though. It was a year soon since i played WAR, what has change, what is the fun in it?:) Is it still scenario grinding? Is the game balanced? Heard of a friend how he as a Rank 40 Chosen got kited and beaten by a Rank 29 SW, maybe he's bad, but not that bad I hope, he's renown rank 62 after all.
Are the instances fun? Do you need complicated and fun tactics to beat the bosses or is it just tank'n'spank?
If it turns out good, I might pick up my old WL and try again

Well, to be honest: i do not play much and .... Yeah, I I enjoy T1 =) but from T1-T3, which is all I got, the PvP is ... OK. But after the 1,3 patch, nerfing aoe, it become better. Chosen is an pretty good tank these days in my opinion. They get really dangerous from T2- T4.
The only Inbalance is Bombard groups, but that is .. ok,
I never did any instances. Since instance/PvE is more a WoW subject.

Played both WoW and WAR, liked WoW better though, and then I even played WAR before WoW. Don't think WAR was very successful with their pvp, it was an endless scenario grinding, the quests gave about no xp at all so all you did was scenarios and that became boring as hell. It had it bright sides, but WoW is better though imo, even though I don't really want it to. Many subscribers= much money= better game development:) Sry WAR.
Well, say a game where 99 % of the players thinks it's perfectly balanced!;) There will always be some rage heads that complains about things being unbalanced because they cannot admit they're actually bad players and that's why they loose. I play WoW atm and I think it's fairly balanced, more balanced than most other games I play. Easy depends. I guess you don't play anymore and I don't know when you stopped. If you've been to Ulduar and Naxx you should know that teamwork is more than needed:) Especially in hard mode. If WAR is harder, you actually have to spend more than 60 h/day just to get everything to work:)

I was ina top raiding guild on my paladin, I was a tankadin. We did naxx 25 in 3 houres, and no deaths. Achievement ftw?

"fun" is a hard word. But ... why is Dalaran always full? I remember in the end.. sitting in Dalaran for houres, for no reason. I tried PvP, but I didn't like it. But that could be because I am an massive Teamwork player.
I got nothing against WoW, I just do not like people who see WoW as THE game, and a milestone in MMo's.
Dalaran is always full because people like to be close to where the action is, Dalaran has the Trade chat where people announce raids, instances ect and it is in Northrend.
If you' like teamwork you should do arena or join a good raiding guild:) Can't expect to pug Ulduar without achievement, and even now people ain't pugging Ulduar 25. You got to have a guild for that = more teamwork:)
If you were doing naxx with peeps in green asking for Ulduar achievement you don't want to run with them;)
I am not sure wheter you support WoW, or WAR .. but:
I had an alt. They denied me to PuG anything without EPIC achievement, and the hard version of that instance ( epic and 25 man naxx for 10 man naxx pug(.
Of course, it is not needed. Far from.
And yes, I feel Warhammer is better. But that is due to me enjoying pvP, and such, more than easy PvE.
If WOW and WAR came out at the same time I'm pretty sure WAR would be where WOW is now. And with the money they gained WAR would be an incredible game.
more subscribers doesn't mean more development... its just easier to get through the content (ESPECIALLY with WoTLK... everything is way to easy) so they have to release more content to keep subscribers...

@Puffzan The only reason for that is that WoW is 100x more complicated than this. thats the simple reason for it. Also the classes on this game are so much more basic, all it is a DoT DoT repeat until you drop. WoW hs much more complicated things happening.

having an ability that pulls a person in seems far too brutal, like an easier knock back. i imagine would be a lot easier to knock/pull people into ur allies.

In my opinion WoW is a great game, but it takes to much time to play it if you want some action going on or achieve something. Because you have to see every dungeon a thousand times to in order to be able to find a group thats willing to take you along. So i prefer a game where everyone thats playing is needed even if he is not that well equiped or skilled ( even though i think every high level char player should be^^) i am not a real pvp player but you got to admit instant action rulez^^

WAR has yet to fix 80% of the bugs they're experiencing which is exactly what wow experienced when they started... DO NOT judge this game atm by what you hear... if your curious try it out... i play wow... and im gonna try this out... wow has become boring repetitive and predictable... everything worng in an online game tbh... i hope this will be different when WAR has worked out all the kinks..

Gotta say bud, befriend about 2 healbots 3 if you can willing to just heal and dispel for you, and max out axe mastery and get thin the herd, cull the weak and primal fury, then go rest into dont recall the paths name, but whichever one it is that has pounce and get it. Now for tactic, go with loner, brute force, flanking and tearing blade. Just focus your attacks on anything shy of heavy armor and i guarantee you will win about 90% of your scenario games.

Played both WoW and WAR, liked WoW better though, and then I even played WAR before WoW. Don't think WAR was very successful with their pvp, it was an endless scenario grinding, the quests gave about no xp at all so all you did was scenarios and that became boring as hell. It had it bright sides, but WoW is better though imo, even though I don't really want it to. Many subscribers= much money= better game development:) Sry WAR.

You miss out a LOT of facts there, mate.
WoW got LOTS of Money, but they still fail to balance the classes.
WoW is easy, too easy.
WoW is addictive, both dailies and Achievements where added to keep PVE people from not quitting.
And WoW is OVERRATED.
Because every single 10 year old kids play the game, rolling either a DK or a Loladin.
And Ghostcrawler, the class developer, keeps nerfing every class, and giving buffs to the DK, paladin.
JUSt to make the less skilled people, keep playing

Well, say a game where 99 % of the players thinks it's perfectly balanced!;) There will always be some rage heads that complains about things being unbalanced because they cannot admit they're actually bad players and that's why they loose. I play WoW atm and I think it's fairly balanced, more balanced than most other games I play. Well, the less skilled people may play, but good players are still better than bad ones, more fun for you if you're a good one good;)

WoW IS easy. No teamwork is needed.
WoW IS addictive, many people play it 60 houres a week.
It BECOMES boring, after your bored of pvp, bored of alts, bored of loladins and DK's.
And for Gods sake ... if you DARE saying it is balanced =O Look at the wariors. Dk and Loladin have gotten EVERY god damn skill a warrior got, in a better variant.
I played WoW since vanilla. I saw it evolve ...

Easy depends. I guess you don't play anymore and I don't know when you stopped. If you've been to Ulduar and Naxx you should know that teamwork is more than needed:) Especially in hard mode. If WAR is harder, you actually have to spend more than 60 h/day just to get everything to work:)
Every game gets boring, WAR more than WoW, addictive games tend to be fun;)
Again, don't know if you play WoW now but pallys and DKs has gotten nerfed latest patch (3.0) and are not so op now if you can play:)

Did you know that you can fix the sound settings of ventrilo to maxi - or minimize sound input/output?
You see, to be able to defeat a boss you need tactic, and you had not, so yes, WoW is about tactic, otherwise you wouldn't have wiped.
I bet you don't even know what that first boss name is.

Hmm.. You both got an discussion here, but it seem to be lurking towards me too.
I was ina top raiding guild on my paladin, I was a tankadin. We did naxx 25 in 3 houres, and no deaths. Achievement ftw?
But .. where was the fun?
Where was the challenge? No one was overgeared ... But hell.. let's take heigan for instance. I've heard people complain it is too hard, while .. it is merely to look and remember. Stuff you learn in second grade. I have never died on Heigan, as a MT.

Hmm... i stopped right after Ukduar came out. I remember doing it on 25 man, but we didn't get far.
There is just one thing I must set my finger on:
"fun" is a hard word. But ... why is Dalaran always full? I remember in the end.. sitting in Dalaran for houres, for no reason. I tried PvP, but I didn't like it. But that could be because I am an massive Teamwork player.
I got nothing against WoW, I just do not like people who see WoW as THE game, and a milestone in MMo's.

Dalaran is always full because people like to be close to where the action is, Dalaran has the Trade chat where people announce raids, instances ect and it is in Northrend.
If you' like teamwork you should do arena or join a good raiding guild:) Can't expect to pug Ulduar without achievement, and even now people ain't pugging Ulduar 25. You got to have a guild for that = more teamwork:)
If you were doing naxx with peeps in green asking for Ulduar achievement you don't want to run with them;)

Well, as I said .. somewhere. Meh, comments is so hard to trace.
But I was in one of the top guids.The point is simple: Peopke require you to be Overageared, to PUG anything.
Which.. ruins the fun. And ... Arena is the only kind of PvP these days, and is really unbalanced. Even GhostCrawler said " Pvp is about groups"
" Arena is NOT about damage".
Which ... is not good.
GhostCrawler is the Class developer, if you didn't know.

I am not sure wheter you support WoW, or WAR .. but:
I had an alt. They denied me to PuG anything without EPIC achievement, and the hard version of that instance ( epic and 25 man naxx for 10 man naxx pug(.
Of course, it is not needed. Far from.
And yes, I feel Warhammer is better. But that is due to me enjoying pvP, and such, more than easy PvE.

lvl there to lvl 80 is a pain in the @ss and borring as hell
the pvp is uber suck in wow now alway one side fight (ally>horde)
the animation is borring now too
pve it's borring now too and hard to get in a raid if you don't got the achivenebt bull sh!t.

Well, you seem like one of those bad players that legendaryplayer talked about, good for me you swapped to WAR:)
1-80 can be done in about 2 weeks (real time) and ain't very hard. Pvp is good, better than WAR imo, especially in Wintergrasp and world pvp.
Animations boring? Well at least it doesn't look like the elves got sticks up there asses.
Well, get the achievement then, if you're mature and listen to raid leaders you should have no prob getting into raids. If you're geared ofc.

Only a few % of WoW likes questing.
I remember what my guild said when I dinged 80( top guild)
" Gratz mate! Now you better start thinking of some good names!"
I was like " Wtf? Why should I need new names"
" Man! No one told you? it is time for you to start your army of alts!"
Which was true. After a while I had 3 80's, 2 70's, and every class at 60+.

more subscribers doesn't mean more development... its just easier to get through the content (ESPECIALLY with WoTLK... everything is way to easy) so they have to release more content to keep subscribers...

and just to bitch a little bit more, i sincerely hoped WAR would have beaten WOW and dragged more players onto it, given WOW is losing quality, i.e: set items that only differ on color so everyone looks the same like twins or something, it's like 11 million people are only there because of the popularity, not the quality of the game it self, given it has little compared to vanilla

Copy of WoW because of the similar gameplay? Once you get inside the game like i did on trial you'll be amazed by the quality of the lore, while WoW has virtually none giving most of the story of the game is being screwed, like existing thousands of warglaives when in the history there's only a pair, worn by illidan.

wow is overrated i got an 80 orc hunter.. and i have only played the trial of WAR.. and i like WAr alot better... they have taht many subscribers cuz its more popular.. if war did commercials with verne troyer, mr.T and ,ozzy osbourne,then i bet you they would get more subscribers to.. most of them being tards that pick up the game cuz they are 11 and they saw mini me playing it... when there is 11.5 million ppl playing a game and over 5 million are below 12 then its not a game im gonna play

Warhammer online is just in it's baby steps. offcourse theres problems , bugs , balance. (as if wow is balanced .. yeah right)Every game had it every game will. So i'm really looking forward to join the war community (downloading the patch :P)

@Puffzan The only reason for that is that WoW is 100x more complicated than this. thats the simple reason for it. Also the classes on this game are so much more basic, all it is a DoT DoT repeat until you drop. WoW hs much more complicated things happening.

it's really not all that hard, so long as your at your targets flank or rear and your lion (if your not loner spec) is with you, you're owning them :)

In my opinion WoW is a great game, but it takes to much time to play it if you want some action going on or achieve something. Because you have to see every dungeon a thousand times to in order to be able to find a group thats willing to take you along. So i prefer a game where everyone thats playing is needed even if he is not that well equiped or skilled ( even though i think every high level char player should be^^) i am not a real pvp player but you got to admit instant action rulez^^

WAR has yet to fix 80% of the bugs they're experiencing which is exactly what wow experienced when they started... DO NOT judge this game atm by what you hear... if your curious try it out... i play wow... and im gonna try this out... wow has become boring repetitive and predictable... everything worng in an online game tbh... i hope this will be different when WAR has worked out all the kinks..

Gotta say bud, befriend about 2 healbots 3 if you can willing to just heal and dispel for you, and max out axe mastery and get thin the herd, cull the weak and primal fury, then go rest into dont recall the paths name, but whichever one it is that has pounce and get it. Now for tactic, go with loner, brute force, flanking and tearing blade. Just focus your attacks on anything shy of heavy armor and i guarantee you will win about 90% of your scenario games.

Toughness and disrupt based gear, not huge strength. Pet was doing most of the damage at the time since people were still in somewhat bad gear
