It´s a fucking pity Vegas both super-power attacks are compl. useless! Fuck that man! Capcom should do more against it. Not always Ryu and Sagat. I mean WTF?!! Playing without super and ultra, it´s like beeing handicapped to the ground.

U also can focus attack into ultra or when u knocked down ur enemy time the wake up and hit im then. I dont think his ultra is useless. His super kidna is ^^

The Viper Player lacks overhead mixups. Usually when a Vega player is cornered by Viper, the game is pretty much over since Vega only has 4 frame japs :(

I don't know why they didn't make Claw named Vega in the first place. It's a Spanish name! He doesn't look like a "Balrog" anyway.

Im not disagreeing but if you wanna know this is the backstory behind Claw's original Japanese name.

If you wiki the name Balrog and look up where it comes from in mythology Balrog was actually a hideous beast, the name is supposed to be ironic because Claw is all about being beautiful and the fact that hes kind of an insane assassin justifies his name being something grotesque rather than pretty.

Actually the names Claw, Boxer, and Dictator were assigned by fans. Their true names are as follows

Japanese : Claw: Balrog, Dictator: Vega, Boxer: M. Bison.

English: Claw: Vega, Dictator: M. Bison, Boxer: Balrog.

Feel free t ocorrect me others. But i believe the Japanese version of the game has 'Balrog, Vega and Bison' as being different people. I think Vega is dictator, Balrog is claw, and Bison is boxer in their version.

you're both correct, they changed M Bison to Balrog, but then they had to shift the others accordingly

when street fighter 2 1st came out, they where going to call balrog, m.bison but feared legal reprecutions (from mike tyson) swapped his name. but at the same time they thought vega the name for a final boss was bad so they switched it around on every body. and keeped it ever since
