At the end of the movie, the action from the movie which is set in the Old West, crashes through a wall, onto the set of a musical on the Warner Brothers lot. The song being performed in the musical is called The French Mistake. The term "French Mistake" refers to a straight guy having a gay sexual encounter he later regrets.

the best part about this episode is that they were comepletely accurate about everything except Jensen & Jared's friendship. i had always heard that they became best friends in real life when the show started.. but anyways, the show is awesome! and they had better keep it up cause its the olnly good show CW has running.

you missed the epic gun fire scene! there was even one guy doging bullits like a beast and just shock it off, hid behind a wall. Thid ep made it look like they dont talk to each other off stage. Are they kinda like a moderen lavern and sherly? I watch the show but dont like to get into the actors lives. But i most know!

@amaya5yumi They're hilarious behind the scenes from what I've heard and seen. :) Live in Europe so haven't really met them, but I would assume they talk a lot to eachother off-stage....at least Misha Collins ... definitley Misha Collins ... lol. And Jared. Jensen is somewhat off on the videos I've seen, but he's hilarious.

@amaya5yumi The thing is, they actually all get along very well. The episode was meant to make a joke of everything. Misha made himself seem more douchey in the episode than he really is  though he does have a twitter. Jared and Jensen are actually best friends so the fact that they play it off as if the two never talk is actually really hilarious. The three of them actually do get along very well, though Jared and Jensen have a tendency to play pranks on Misha.

I know some, mostly chicks, love supernatural, but this show is really bad written. I'm still watching it, cause I want to know how the series end, but it keeps getting worse and worse. because their story line isn't that interesteing, they keep writing things like the french mistake, including weird dimension shifts etc. Thats what they always do, they play with realities a lot in the series, too much if you ask me.

Especially this episode, it wrecked my immersion with the series completely.

@ijsjesindebomen Well, in the first season(s) it started off as just the Winchesters hunting random shit on the road, as any series do if you ask Me. When the series began to grow they started to build up the characters more and get deeper into a story to keep fans and make the series more intense/interesting to watch I think, and now after the "apocalypse" in season 5, they're trying to bring back some humor into the show again. And if you've seen the newer eps another storyline has begun. :)

@ijsjesindebomen What appeared to you as some silly episode also contained an important part of the myth-arc storyline they put out. This show started decent with Sam and Dean hunting monsters and then became even better when they brought in the apocalypse, and how all that tied into Sam and Dean's family history. Episodes like the French Mistake are few in between to lighten the mood for the big dark episodes. But then again, if you aren't a true fan, you'd probably never understand.

@trippycat123 I think I laughed at everything except Misha dying. That one cut a little too close to home. I mean, when they were gunning down Kripke and the crew, it was made out to be so melodramatic so it's funny, but Misha's death scene is just dark and brutal, and I have to say, when I heard the sound of Misha's throat being slit, my heart probably skipped about a million beats right there. It just kinda wasn't funny anymore, felt too real. Good thing Misha is alive in real life though! :D
