Even the aural xciter in my Aphex aural xciter guitar pedal sounds unbelievable. Whatever these guys do to sound is amazing. But I must say I like the direct box out to the audio interface better than the actual guitarpedal features.

I own one of these units. This is by far the BEST all in one unit preamps in my studio, and I also own Focusrite and other expensive outboard gear. With this unit, I don't need to chain up a lot of pieces to get a right vocal track, all that does is add more noise in the chain........I would recommend this for ANY kind of vocal work, yes even to get that "movie" voice over sound.

Yeah .. .you can... but i'd only buy this for vocals... if you want the big bottom and exciter..then get the Aphex 204 Aural Exciter with Big Bass bottom channel strip...

Ya the eq on it isn't like insanely versatile i think how other instruments but I think im just gonna stick with protools dynamics EQ cause I hear such mixed reviews everywhere I go about it and the bbe so I dont know which to choose
