I must say, the anime ended a bit fast, BUT if they brought it back (somehow) I do believe it would ruin the experience I had watching these series. So I say, leave it be. I had high expectations for the new Last Exile, to tell the truth, I'm a bit disappointed. So sometimes it's just to leave it as it is.

Everything about this anime.. The opening theme, the story line, and then the ending theme.. It was all beautiful.. I'm not one for crying, It makes my eyes hurt and this anime gets me every time. The ending I got upset thinking he was just going to stay there forever.. Alone in that world. D: This anime was outstanding.. Like, while Otonashi's soul was wandering about the different realms of the universe, Kanade grew up, got a heart transplant, and lived her life. When Kanade died, she knew right away what she needed to do, so her soul went to the realm Angel Beats takes place in right away, and waited for Otonashi to arrive, so she could thank him. That's how I like to think about it. (:

I actually didn't cry while watching Angel Beats. I mean, it was a beautiful anime and I loved it to pieces...but there were bits of the plot which I wished were a little more developed.

I also kinda wished we'd learned the lives of other characters like TK, Kanade, Shiina ect...

But in all, definitely an anime I'd recommend for others. :D

@JustPandasian what I do when that happens is I look up the voice actors and the producers that made the anime and see what their latest projects are, or some behind the scenes stuff, that way your favorite characters are never really gone forever, and it gives a better appreciation for the development of anime, like concept art , voice acting, plot/character development, etc... and how it all gets put together. Their aim you feel this way, and if you do, then they did a good job.
