This stance really is a guard. There really seems to be no feasible way of attacking that wouldn't just be for tournament tap points. The hands are jammed up next to you (already a danger in and of itself), so you can't fire off a punch very well or any other hand technique. You might be able to get off a back fist - except that your hips are already turned forward, so you'll have no power. What do you plan to do, wimpily kick your opponent into submission?
