I haven't had any problems with vista i've had it for about 4 months now all games run perfect on it (FEAR, NFS Prostreet, Crysis, COD4, Sim 2 with all expansions, Universe At War, World In Conflict) so far it's been compatible with everything I've thrown at it. it's way better than XP sp2.

The Goforce 5500 is already shipped in the O2 xda flame and we still don't see these kind of graphics. its benchmark score sucks too, just look:

now compare this with nokia n93 and n95

N95 powervr mbx GPU is much better and is ACTUALLY a 3D GPU, this chip is only good for video and streaming (maybe 2D graphics). Go and do some research before actually believing these BS noobs!!

you are overestimating the power of 8500 =P

Both the fillrate and memory bandwidth of 7950 is about 4 times of that 8500, and since SLI scaling is not perfect, you will need more than 4 8500s to beat a 7950gt. Low end cards like 8500 are just bit better than onboard.

I have the Goforce 4800 on the v3xx. The 5500 isn't out yet except on the EM One in japan. Even with the 5500 nvidia already has the 6100 listed on their website. They also demonstrated the 5500 playing Quake 3 on a 640x480 screen.

I think some of you guys are getting confused between GeForce FX 5500 and GeForce 5500. Two completely different chips. The GoForce is a chip for embedded applications (cell phones).

I believe almost none of the phones on the market has this yet, even most Asian 3G models. However I think Moto's V3x has a 4500... and maybe some NTT DoCoMo headsets...
