That's actually the only pole of that sort along the whole line. I've been wondering about it, too. There are no signs of electrification anywhere else on the Staley Branch, so this may just be something that has to do with NJT's Morrisville yard
If you can get in down at the steel mill at the end of Pennsylvania Ave, There are two High Hood GP-7s with Dyn brakes used for switching. They are old ,smoke like hi hell and are LOUD, You will love it .
You should see some of the videos of the shortlines - you can hear the ties creaking under the weight! I remember when I was a kid in some yards you used to be able to see the whole track sinking and rising back up again as the weight of the trucks passed over it!
And no, not for now. I'll put it in the description.. but I have a cold and the narration would NOT have worked! However, I'm doing a survey of the Atlantic City Line this weekend, with a full ACES (Atlantic City Express Service) ride included -- narration will be neccessary for that one! Thanks again!
I LOVE THAT LESLIE RS3L my favourite horn!!

Note the abandoned catenary pole at 2:00. I think they used to use GG1's and E-44 for freight way back when.

Wow, I had no idea they had their own power, still! I know they used to have some ex-Army Baldwins. Isn't if off-limits though?
