No, it would still count because the men impact was before the other player was able to stick him. The only thing that matters is who killed the other first, --> sutemi. Hence why dekote counts when the other player still hits the men after. Plus hes able to hold form and complete the technique with forward momentum, its ippon.
it seems like the main strike for nito players is the men. holding the shinai like that makes it difficult to strike anywhere else without leaving yourself open.
