  • awesome channel!!!!!!! my mac classic died recently with a disc error :( I remember as a kid I used to play BOLO all the time on the mac. Do you have Bolo by chance ?

  • @sonick808 Bolo was an awesome game. I never was very good at it, but I did go through a Bolo phase where I'd play it almost every night, lol. Thanks for reminding me about it!

  • I'm a huge simpsons fan, too! I've been watching them since I was ten!

  • what is the music playing in the background? it sounds familar? This will sound stupid, but was in on the simpsons?

  • @TaTgurl1003 The first song is Beethoven's Symphony #6 and the second is Bach's Invention #8. I do remember hearing Beethoven in the Simpsons before. (Huge fan of the show)

  • Almost a travesty to open something that old :-)

    Great review/unpack!

  • @craigcooper1967 I'm sure someone, somewhere, would have opened this game sooner or later. Doing it on video at least we can all share the fun :) Thanks for watching.

  • killgruz i like your Original Mac game reviews!

  • @KillianBeast Thank you, many more videos to come!

  • The only reason to leave a game sealed is if you're planning to sell it again years from now for some sort of mega-profit. I've never left any of my possessions sealed, but then again I've never cared. Games are meant to be played, or else I wouldn't buy them.

That said, if I came across a sealed copy of a 20-year-old game I'd probably leave it that way and play a pirated copy.

  • @ActionPackedJack I agree, games are meant to be played. This Mac SE will be with me for the rest of my life, so I'll never sell any of the games I've found. I had found a copy of this game online, nothing on what's inside the box tho. Miles Computing always has neat stuff inside their games so it was too hard not to open it up. lol

I have sealed copies of more well known games that I might leave sealed because they actually have value and I wouldnt regret selling them. Thanks for watching dude

  • You only live once: open all sealed things that comes in your way! :)

  • @Hraesvlgr I definitely agree with that mentality!

  • Great review as always. Not a bad looking game but I can see the control being my flaw, since i like to move with the arrow keys and fire with space. can't always have what you want though. Can't wait to see another mac classic review!

  • @TheDemoniusX Thanks man, yeah the controls were bad. Ah well though, still a pretty fun game. Thanks for watching!

  • could you show us what the game would be like over 1x on mini vmac

  • @weridpan Haha, I think I'd end up throwing my computer monitor out my window in a fit of rage if I tried to play it on anything faster than 1x. Even 1x is faster than on the real hardware!

  • Oh, that instructionbooklet was beautiful! So simple, but yet so trippy!

And the coverart! Oh. I wish modern companies would make stuff like this!

  • @TanukiKGA I wish they would too. They can spend millions of dollars creating a game and yet most of my modern games have black and white instruction manuals that are about 6 pages long.

  • A few fanboys yelled at the screen when you unsealed it :P

  • @Bakemon13 lol, well at least I opened it in a way that we all can share the experience!

  • I love the art card! I think there is a iPhone game similar to this but in 3D.

  • @shaurz Any idea what the name of it is? I've been playing lots of iphone/touch games lately

  • @killgruz Sorry I can't remember :-( I don't have an iDevice but I saw a review on Classic Game Room.

  • @killgruz Heh well I've found what I was thinking of, "Bloody Xmas 2010". LOL, well the only thing that is similar is that you have to protect presents from enemies that try to take them. Bit of a stretch maybe ;-)

  • @shaurz Just watched the review of it, I definitely do see the resemblance! I can just imagine how quickly this game would have been banned if it had meat cleavers and blood too. lol, How times have changed...

  • Wow, a sealed 128/512k game box! That's something I don't think I've ever seen. Feels like a shame to open them sometimes but I'm like you, I wanna know what's inside! Some dudes crap bricks when you open stuff though, I just don't see the point in being so uptight. And if I haven't paid more than a buck or two for it and it's not some crazy rare title or a favorite of mine I have no problem opening. That is some awesome stuff inside the box, I'm glad you showed it. Looks like a decent game too.

  • @phreakindee I think this is the first 128/512k game box I've seen too. I'm glad that there was stuff actually inside the box that was neat. I figured there should be something inside it if they're going to charge 60 bucks for it, but I have ran into some games lately where they really skimp out.
