As for it being a medieval forgery, about 5 years ago Ray Rogers, the Radiocarbon dating project leader from 1988 stated that the piece of corner cloth they tested was not of the same date as the whole shroud, and possibly added later to tidy up a torn corner and believed the rest could well be genuine. Since he died a few months later they have not retested it, but he had checked parts previously.

@jesusrules2012 Forget the ethnic looking hooked nose. Jesus was the image of His & our Heavenly Father. He probably looked as nondescript as possible. What a bunch of crap!!!!! The shroud may be authentic but I'm sure he couldn't have had a hooked nose. Come on..........

@kelliann10 what's wrong with hooked noses now ? in the bible it is also said that humans as well were made by God resembling him.
about the shroud authenticity, the point is that even if it is a forgery we have no idea of how it was made.
