  • I still haven't got over the enclosures act either !

  • Shakespeare (or Will Shaksper) didn't write the works that are usually attributed to him. The likeliest candidate is the Earl of Oxford, Edward de Vere. The real 'Shakespeare' was a for a time an actor, then a successful theatre manager, then an even more successful and rich shareholder and investor who had interests in various business enterprises. See Mark Twain's 'Is Shakespeare Dead?' (Twain himself thought the author of the works was probably Francis Bacon, but this seems unlikely).

  • @euclid901 OR..... it was William Shakespeare

  • "Chomsky says: The roots of Brittisch and US intervention are embedded in a set of geopolitical conceptions. He gets big laughs with this stuff."

    lol

Well, at least I can reread what he says. And I DO often grin when I read his books. You'll never hear somebody saying Chomsky is talking to fast or with a thick accent. That's for sure.

  • "I don't want to be responsible for the earthquake when a hundred million mexicans fall to the ground laughing" ROFL

  • i doubt he's a cokehead,if that's what you're implying.

  • @blatspanner

It's a 90 minute show, if he was on coke he would have had to disappear at least 5 times during the night to keep on at the same pace.
