  • @SeanofZeus Tampers are supplied with most (ALL) coffee machines that you buy.

Some people want to buy personalised tampers or extra tampers for whatever reason...

  • @EamonnDoylePhotoFilm 99% of the tampers supplied with machines aren't properly sized and are usually plastic. I'd never spend more than $40 for any tamper, but proper size and a decent material used is a must.

  • @SeanofZeus There is no way any tamper would cost $50 production cost. Best tamper I've seen and used cost $35 and is 23 oz. of 58mm solid stainless steel. Keep it affordable and simple. The rosewood, yadda, yadda need to be shoved up someone's ass to spend $120~

  • nice vid mate

  • How does that indicate the caffeine? Caffeine is not an oil from the bean. The caffeine is in the coffee produced not the crema produced.

  • Can I just point out to you - the crema is not the caffine, it is micro oils from the beans.. the flavour comes as the crema passes over the tounge.

  • @Defunktsoul which includes the caffine.

  • @Defunktsoul Actually crema is a combination of caramelized sugars, CO2 and a small amount of oils present in the coffee.

  • @Tkhomie7 hahaha :P i realised halfway through filming that the hot water knob had been turned on a little :P i forgot to mention it though!!! sorry, mine was just on a little :P

  • Dude I want your kitchen lol! Great vid...going to look up Bliss and see if they've got a website I can order from :)

  • try making your grind finer, and purge the group before inserting porta filter.

Should also start the pour as soon as the the porta filter is secure, this prevents the dry grinds in the basket from over heating.

Crema isn't pure caffeine it is the good oils coming out of the coffee try aiming for a rich redish brown colour in your crema, you will taste the difference.

keep up the good work Bro, good to see some enthusiastic home baristas!

  • @mattcook1000 best comment so far

  • The pour was really light, seems like the beans were stale?

It blonded like 10 seconds through the pour..
