I always imagined Jughead with a deep, lazy voice sort of like Garfield except more monotone. It would fit his personality better. The high pitched voices in all of the cartoons make no sense to me. He sounds like Woody Allen mixed with Alvin Chipmunk. SUPER annoying....

Actually, he was voiced by Howard Morris (1919-2005), who also was a semi-regular on the Andy Griffith Show as well as having worked on other Filmation shows such as The Archies, Will The Real Jerry Lewis Please Sit Down and Waldo Kitty. He also was a veteran voice actor at Hanna-Barbera on shows such as Magilla Gorilla and Atom Ant.

Jughead's voice was provided by Howard Morris, who is best remembered for his mountain man character, Howard T. Bass, on "The Andy Griffith Show".
