This car is not slow at all, and actually pretty fast. 0-60 in sub 6 sec is a good time even by sports coupe standards, let alone a 4600lb luxury cruiser.
That was pretty fast for an 4600 LBS. of a BENZ!!!! The goofy ACURA RL can't even break 7 sec. The 5.0 Benz is a great engine. The car is not for racing, just to cruzzzzzzzzz along Ocean Blvd....... ;)
Don't get me wrong, its a great engine also. But lets not ignore the reality of things. Yes the car weighs a lot. Yes, its not that fast, and yes it should be a little stronger. Well, its a luxury car for one. Two, if you want faster get an AMG55, Three it does zero to sixty in 5.9 sec. This is the number my car does which I have tested over and over. Anyway, to each his own. I love the power it has, its more then enough. If I want to go fast, I jump into my M5 and rip the road up...
