The singing was good, they dancing was okay.

What bothers me is how people get the perspective that Mimi is a sluttly dresser, and she's not.

Broadway has her wearing Boots, Long Pants, a mid-drift top and arm warmers.

Not some bra with a netting over it and a short plastic skirt.

From what I understand they charge 3000$ a kid (correct me if I am wrong)

They could've gotten a better outfit.

I agree with others; any production needs more than piano. Not to say this is bad; this is really good. But, in a way, it doesn't sound believable without other instruments. *shrugs* Don't they have other musicians at Stagedoor Manor?

they dont have musicians at stagedoor, the piano is played by the musical director, and i dont know how they did it in this one, because i was in the original cast at stagedoor, but our roger played the guitar, so we had that, and we had a special keyboard to make different sounds for the piano...

and, if you listen to the original recording, there arent many different instuments on broadway's version

it's a theater camp, not a instrumental camp, so obviously that don't have other musicians. Can you imagine how hard it would be to get a full orchestra for all 12 shows, 6 being put on at a time? It doesn't need an orchestra because it's the performance that matters.
