Man United here - was @ OT for the 70 FACFReplay ... what a brilliant team:Osgood, Cooke, Hollins, Bonetti etc. loved watching them, so glad they beat Leeds that night !!
Agreed ModAvenger, not a Chelsea supporter either but it doesn't matter who you support its just fantastic looking back at what football used to be and remembering some of the great players who have graced the game. Back then every team had its star player/s and its hardman. Can you imagine Tommy Smith, Chopper Harris, Norman Hunter, Peter Storey playing today, would they last five minutes with the games laws as they exist now.
Many people say we play boring football, but they forget that for almost ten years we wowed the country with our flamboyant, if self-destructive, football!! RIP Ossie
I'm a Gooner (now) but looking at the pics of so many great players, some sadly departed now brings a tear to the eyes but most of all a smile. They were a great side!

Osgood - What a player - and remember that footballs were heavier than those today and the pitches not so well kept...he gave us such entertainment.
