I followed your instructions down to the letter and it was really easy to get everything done, but at the end, after unpackaging the zip file, I tried to open up the rom and it wouldn't even start. It does this with all gba emulators too! It seems to be working on your phone. what's going on?

could you install roms on the sd card from your computer and then unzip them and install it that way

Have you tried opening the rom through androzip? After opening Gensoid, you should be presented with a window with all your roms.

Yea for some reason the snes roms are not unpacking on android devices. I tried it on my epic 4g and evo 4g and I too received error messages like everyone else. I am not sure if it may be an update issue or what but I hope to find a solution for this.

@wesley6136 I got that code page before i think that means that the game rom is no good, try another one and see if that works.

Yea I have received many comments of people not getting the roms working. I am looking into it as we speak.

Thank you for the comment and viewing. I got swype from their beta, unfortunately the swype beta is now closed and they are no longer letting anyone sign up for it. I'm guessing after the beta they will release an "official" version.

Can you just bypass downloading zipped roms to the phone by just loading roms on the sd card from the computer?

In theory, if you have already unzipped the file from your computer it may work but don't quote me on that because I have not tried it. If you do try it, let me know if it works. I'd rather do it all on my evo, so I do have to mess with exchanging my card or files from my computer to the evo, unless you have all your roms on your computer already. Good luck.

I'm using swype. Download their beta for your android phones like the Evo on their website. It's the best alternative to a physical keyboard.

For nintendo games, download nesoid, I downloaded the lite version. from there follow the sames steps as the video, just look for nintendo roms instead of genesis roms. Unpackage them with androzip and you'll be good to go! Good luck and email if you have more questions.
