I have to say, that I did think that what happened to Japan was a disaster. But, I don't think I actually cared. I did what Onision said to do, y'know, picture yourself or your family in that situation. I felt horrible. I never want to feel that way again. I cracked jokes about. Laughed at jokes about it. I don't, however, feel sorry that I did that. Because they were jokes. No one meant anything when saying them. At least, nothing bad. That's why I don't feel guilt about it.

I believe giving weapons to opposing civilians in Libya is a bad idea. But along with support from other forces, could be an option. I hope Gaddafi soon realizes that the only thing that gives him support from others is because he pays for it.

You know what really makes me feel sad about the disaster in Japan? The fact that there's really nothing I can do to help. I made some Japan support shirts in my Zazzle store and was planning on donating my royalties to the Red Cross. How can I donate if no one buying? Know what I mean? :/
I'm sad for all the people and feel horrible. But I also am sad about all the animal life that died. They can feel fear as well and no one really cares about them.

It seems we have different views on humanity. Humanity and human nature, they are not always compassion and caring for other humans. No doubt our nature holds partially to compassion but we hold our own self interest first. that is why you need to think of it in the context of yourself first. because if it didn't relate to you and you couldn't make that connection you wouldn't care. It's Ideology that brings us to compassion for strangers. We need to care only because we need people in our lives
I care, but I kind of ignore it. Because at this stage of my life I really can't do a whole lot to help, and just thinking about it depresses me mostly. So I care, but only to an extent, because I'm not god and I have little control or ability to change it. I feel like doing a lot is better than doing just a little. My first reaction to the tsunami was "cool, we learned about tsunamis in science class! look at that giant wave!" and then i saw the videos of people on the news reuniting with their families and thought "holy crap. how many people are still missing? what if someone i know is there? or someone a friend knows?" the tsunami affects everyone if you consider the theory of six degrees.
People all around the world are connected more than you think. Chances are you can pick a random person on the planet...u may not know them...but you have probably talked to someone in your lifetime that does know them...or the chain could be longer...you could have talked to someone has has talked to someone else who is a second cousin to the random person you picked.

The day I saw about the quake that appeared in Japan, I sat there paralyzed and began to cry, and I didn't care that I would be late for my appointment.
I care about others, but too much. If one of my friends is just a little bit sad I am so worried that I can't sleep at night. It's not good to not care at all, but caring too much can also be a problem.

Because I love and care about every single person affected by the earthquake, and I don't wanna see any one go through that. Not because I think..that could be me or someone I love. Something bad happens but dwelling on it only makes the rest of the world suffer. it's not worth the while, we should be fighting negativity, help if you can but don't cry over it, it does nothing. It seems we have different views on humanity. Humanity and human nature, they are not always compassion and caring for other humans. No doubt our nature holds partially to compassion but we hold our own self interest first. that is why you need to think of it in the context of yourself first. because if it didn't relate to you and you couldn't make that connection you wouldn't care. I care, but I kind of ignore it. Because at this stage of my life I really can't do a whole lot to help, and just thinking about it depresses me mostly. So I care, but only to an extent, because I'm not god and I have little control or ability to change it. I feel like doing a lot is better than doing just a little.
