The ONLY reason the Soviet Union went to war with the Nazis is because Hitler invaded them - Stalin was perfectly content to partition Eastern Europe between their totalitarian empires. And the Russians never "liberate" anyone - they were conquerors. Poland went from mass murder and repression under the Nazis to mass murder and repression under the USSR. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
