I understand why governments around the world decided to bail-out these financial institutions and the associated collapsing national economies and I tend to think that it was the right move, however the fact that these companies are back to handing themselves bonuses so soon after they were on welfare really highlights the parallel universe they inhabit. How is this appropriate behaviour, and do they really believe that people have forgotten what damage they caused?
