I think it renders 60, since SBS and T/B are half resolution, they got processed as 1:1 for output as full resolution. This would be different for frame sequence, although it's useless if you can't input framepacked content.
You can record xbox footage, because there is no hdcp for its output.
This looks like a great card. But this also counts for the H727 3D imho.
Yes, but you (or I) have to use component cables. You can't record using HDMI because of the HDCP protection - however, for whatever reason, when recording the XBOX360 games, it's not protected and I can use the HDMI cable for this (xbox360). But when recording Satelight, I have to use component cables. It's not bad really as the video is indistinguishable from the digital HDMI image. The capture card comes with a component adapter. I actually used plain ol' RCA cables...
.... (red/white/yellow) as my component cables and then later use a real component cable and there was no difference between the image quality. Component cables, like most HDMI cables, don't necessarily need to be the highest quality to get a good picture. Now for 3D, you do need high speed HDMI cables, but I'm not necessarily talking about that. I'm mainly referring to the expensive MONSTER cables vs no name brand cables.
Let me clarify, for 3D and high speed cables, I'm referring to a standalone 3D player and 3D TV. High Speed cables are not necessary for this capture card. BTW, I had a standalone 3D player and it would not work with this capture card as the card was not HDMI 1.4 and neither is my Optoma GT720 projector. This wasn't an issue as my HTPC doesn't rely on HDMI 1.4 in order for the 3D to work. I'm using Nvidia 3D Vision and the capture card supports 3D Vision as well as the GT720.
The video was glitchy as my computer at the time wasn't too powerful to record the video. It did a fair job, but it (q9300 OC'd to 3.08ghz, 8gb ram) wasn't too powerful to record HD signals. I have since upgraded to an i7 2600k and it records HD signals flawlessly.
720p/1080i HD H.264 - but I usually just record in 720p.
BTW, I also upgraded to the H7273D Avermedia Card. It's not sold in the States and I had to order it from Australia. It's very similar to my older Avermidia Card (C027 Dark Crystal model), but this one does 2D to 3D conversion on the fly and it looks really good for a conversion. I have my DishNetwork connected to my HTPC so now I can watch any program in 3D - however, not everything looks that good in 3D.
Actually, those aren't glitches you're seeing. What you're think is a glitch is when the ship crashes into an object, or when the ship gets hit by fire or something. The whole screen shakes (as well as the game controller vibrates).
Nice quality 3d output.

Awesome depth man! It works great if you swap right and left and use the optimized option!

@TheUnbiasedGamer
Optimized option?
It worked great as is with my system (Nvidia 3D Vision). If you have to swap left/right, you're probably using DLP Link, right?

@bishoplord I'm talking about the 3D options on the player. Awesome vid.

@TheUnbiasedGamer You're right.. but what is optimized option and where can i find that?

@fourzero40 In the 3D options on the video player.

@bishoplord so what HD quality can you now capture at without any lag? 1080i, 720p?
