The Hip Live is an experience like no other .... and its a shame that there aren't more live shows available on dvd .

Maybe all the fans should get a petition going and hound them to release this and other shows on dvd and a cd too .

The Hip have a warehouse in Kingston Ontario where they have every live show recorded in Audio since almost when they started. I don't know how much video they have. They do have 4 special order live cd's that you can find. They're called 'Live from the Vault', fantastic set of discs

But the unreleased version in the video is performed by The Tragically Hip (minus Paul) three years before the release of that solo record.

I asked on the hip's website why this song is never played live anymore, or why it was never released. They said they were tired of playing it ,along with other older songs. Too bad, I have always loved this awesome song, and I think it would do well if released. I remember watching this performance on muchmusic when i was 19. I was blown away.

Other than 'Crack My Spin Like a Whip', this is likely the greatest unreleased Hip tune. If you can get this live bootleg (Misty Moon), do it. It's amazing.
