I am sorry to hear they don't loop together anymore. That was always my favorite thing to see while going through the loops. You could see the other looping train moving fast above you or below depending on which loop you were going through. Stll a cool ride though.
I was hoping to see footage of the tunnel before they took all the effects out. It's also a shame they don't run the trains to where they loop together anymore.
They will never have that happen again. It's impossible to clear the station fast enough with that gate they put on the exit side of the ride. It's sad...because those were great days!
After riding it, I was on the brink of "expressing my sickness" for several hours until it calmed down. I thought I was good for the Apollo's Chariot so I went on the A.C.... that scared me so bad the Lochness Sickness came back and I "expressed myself" all over the park for the rest of the day lol...
take Dramamine it will help alot, also take tylonal, your probably dehydrated so drink alot of water the week your going to the park and nothing but water.
I know, this is a pretty corny promo. It also fails to tell you about the second short lift hill prior to the second interlocking loop. I've never been on this coaster before, and it looks fairly fun enough, but I think Nessie's younger sister "The Orient Express" who unfortunately passed away several years ago; was a much better coaster. She was located at Worlds of Fun in KCMO. Nessie just seems to lack a general flow, and appears rather awkward at various places in the ride.
@superspeedfreek If you watch videos of their designer, ron toomer, he actually does build models from coathangers even into the 1990's (...maybe thats why Drachen Fire turned out so rough!)
RIP Ron Toomer
His death threw us all for a loop.

what do they mean by "twisting riders 2 3/4 times (360, 360, 270?)?

The tunnel is not a complete triple helix is what they meant.

All Arrow coasters have awkward areas. They use coathangers to design them.

coathangers, . . . lol! how funny, despite how easily it could be true!
