Umm... You guys DO rearlise that the makers and actors of the show ALL state that you are supposed to laugh AT alf.. not agree with him?? Warren has been quoted saying how much he HATES when people say "Good on you my son" or "ALF you keep telling them blackies whats what". I don't blame him. Just utterly brilliant! How ANY of them kept a straight face, I don't know! Priceless comment about Alf being "the product of a Tory education" Shows the hard left leanings of writer Jonny Speight. Trouble is, like all raving lefties, he didn't anticipate how much empathy the majority of the public had with Alf - we were all trying to rub along with each other, and that was always going to cause friction.
