  • Join me on one of my next trips to North Korea and see the Mass Games for yourself ! - visit my website with details of some ground-breaking trips into this fascinating country : (please reconstruct website) worldwideweb dot visitdprk dot weebly dot com

  • sweet crazy comunist shit

  • Kim just doesn't give a fuck.

He probably had the whole dance troupe executed for boredom afterward.

  • if they focus a little less on parades and a little more on farming maybe they wouldnt be starveing to death and dieing from afflictions that havent been a problem in the western world for 300 years

  • kim jong HEALTHY < kim jong ILL < kim jong DEAD

  • Bottom line...American pussy is the best, so fuck North Korea.

  • north koreans write good music shit

  • this is very impressive in deed but i can't help but notice that despite their best efforts Kim Jong Il doesn't even seem to give a shit. The effort they all put in and he just looks bored as hell...outrageous!

  • Cracked sent me here.

  • Bless our great leader and achiever sent to us by heaven Kim Jon Il!

  • They get this and we get the fucking black eyed peas....American sucks :(

  • @lions4life2 America sucks? Have you been to North Korea?

  • @Sneezlebob BLACK EYED PEAS MAN THE BLACK EYED PEAS!

  • The American pigs writing comments on here make me laugh. This is discipline and order... your society of obesity, gun crime and capitalism is so much better i assume?

  • @needabloodyname You'd be a happy slave.

  • @andfry keep eating up the american propaganda. You are a slave to western media. Keep spending money on cars and fatty foods.

  • @needabloodyname lol just look at the comment above us by pfasone and thats my response

  • @needabloodyname

How are you commenting? Shouldn't you be living the country you love and adore? Youtube is censored there, in fact, how do you even have access to internet at all?

Turn yourself in now to state security and ask for forgiveness, hopefully they will let you slave away in manual labour for your obese supreme leader and not shoot you.

  • @needabloodyname Yes. It is better. We don't have over 22 concentration camps in our country. Have fun in a slave camp!

Oh but just know... if you do anything wrong (and there's a long list of things that are wrong) it's punishable by death. Oh yeah, and if you screw up your entire family might die also.

  • @pfasone I'm assuming you've actually been to North Korea and haven't received all of your "knowledge" about it from western media. Otherwise you know nothing. In your "glorious" nation of American, unless people have the money you leave them to die on the street.

  • @needabloodyname Ummmm. You're right... We just leave people to die on the sterets. And that's why y'all have some of the worst famines in the world with millions of people dying. Haha have you ever been to America? I've been here for 21 years and never seen anyone dying on the streets.

  • @pfasone you are deluded my friend. Homeless people die on the streets of America every day. Sort out the problems in your own greed fueled, war mongering capitalist nation before judging others.

  • @needabloodyname What country are you from? Because I'm sensing a lot of hate, dude. You need to calm down a bit. Actually, pfasone does too. How about both of you calm down?

  • @needabloodyname Lol, so much ignorance, America helps the poor more than any other country. What the fuck country are you from to speak so highly, i dont believe its North Korea because you'd be dead for being on an infidel site like this, lolol

  • @Klank123 you just mad because North Korea has ten times the army you have.

  • @needabloodyname trollin' down the river ;)

  • i hope somebody stuffed kim jong il's corpse and is using it as a fucktoy and a punching bag.

  • Cracked brought me here

  • @ClassValedictorian Much thanks. You are on my whitelist.

  • All that entertainment and Kim didn't crack a smile. Bummer.

  • Kim Jong is dead? i didnt even know he was il. ahhhh see what i did there.

  • i think that crowd has more pixels than this video.

  • Kim Jong Il still wishes he was as cool as Chuck Norris.

  • now this is what I call slavery

  • You can put lipstick on a pig. But it is still a pig.

  • @NickPwnsUTube And the pig is known as UK

  • @AutonomnaPolicija No? The pig is a pig. Just stating a random factoid. Why do you have to go and be so racist?

  • no country can order ten thousands people to practice this without paying for 1-2 months.

  • Imagine going to watch this event after smoking shite ton of weed! :D

  • Τι έφτιαξαν οι ανθρωποι.....

  • Comment removed

  • Kim Jonh Il looks a little depressed that the Black Eyed Peas couldn't ruin his superbowl too.

  • Yeah well jerry jones doesn't have to kill the team if the screen messes up.

  • Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones thought he was a badass when he installed the biggest screen ever in his stadium. News flash Jerry: good ol' Kim Song Il has a bigger screen and each pixel is a person. TOP THAT

  • The Trick is to shoot them if they mess up.

  • herro prease

  • @vanillabeanduck u liar...

  • Does anyone know the song that starts at 4:47? Please let me know

  • @Aory2 North Korean Natl Anthem

  • @Aory2

    I believe it's a melody to welcome a friend

    simple and no name

    watch?v=zbUNpcnZaks&feature=related

    from 0:10 to 1:00

  • @Aory2 Hi, its title translated into English is "Welcome the Leader," but I don't know how its said in Korean. Its a beautiful song. Probably one of the most beautiful in the world, but strangely sad at the same time.

  • Dear Leader is all like oh god do I have to sit through another mass game? Been there done that.'

  • All hail comrade Kim, longest penis in the Korean Pinensula...

  • Nuke!

  • Lol at how Kim Jong il is so bored because he's seen this so many times while Jiang Zemin is so dialed in.

  • Best ultra ever !

  • in soviet russia, the crowd IS the show

  • @mosainagant lolz

  • I Love North Korea. I Hate Kim Jong Il.

  • @SpankAgoose

    i kinda agree with that

  • at 1:45 on the pixel 150059555;45498646466 a korean take the wrong color of paper ! for that, KIM has kill all the stand !!!!

  • at 1:45 on the pixel 150059555;45498646466 a korean take the wrong color of paper !

  • Escape from Kim Jong Il have to Hassan (Russia) Russian refugees are not given! North Korea calls for reform!

  • This is the sickest thing I've ever seen. It's like some Star Trek episode, where some psycho has control of everybody's mind or something. These people have been brainwashed since they were children. I wonder if there will be a lot of suicides when this little pig dies and a lot of these people don't have an identity. It's going to be strange to see this sick dynasty wind down.

  • This is best yes. Praise Great Leader and death to his enemies.

  • This little SAWWED OFF COCKSUCKER has got 100,000 people running around and training full time with flags and flash cards. For what? So he can sit there and watch this stupid shit? ARE YOU KIDDING ME. Can you imagine the arrogance to have ALL THOSE PEOPLE devote their days to practicing all that stupid shit, just so you could sit there and be entertained?

  • Does some one could translate for me the phrase on 4:04 - I know that 1st Hanzi is Korea, 2 Hanzi is China, 3 Hanzi is Friend but I don´t know the rest, not enough chinese on my end :P.. I´ll appreciate the translation ;D

  • I went to a performance of the mass games and nothing will ever compare.

  • @OpenOutbox You're probably working for the government in North Korea, and you people AREN'T FOOLING ANYONE. And the ARROGANCE of that ugly little man to make the entire country a plaything for himself.

  • @johnnyharpe not everyone who is against your opinion on this matter is a north korean spy... kinda paranoid don't you think..?

  • @IsomehowForgot Yeah, I guess the North Korean government doesn't waste TOO much time on here, since only a complete idiot would buy their line.

  • Lot's of asian peeps in the stadium..

  • Kim Jong Il's fuck-face while watching this show makes me sick.

  • @henriquedematos Yes, indeed! Everybody doing their best there and he simply don´t care ! :@

  • Who is person at right side of Kim Jong Il?

  • @DKITNG I think leader of China.

  • @DKITNG Jiang Zemin - Former President of China

  • Heading there in April when the games will be on for Kim Il Sung's 100th birthday!

  • ...and the finally is...

    a bowl of ice cream

  • ...and the finally is...

  • I travel to North Korea in September to the Mass Games

  • wwwoaaaa they have a biiiiigg lcd screen in that stadium. lol

  • @clbjuan That is not an LCD screen. That is a bunch of kids holding up different color cardboard. Seriously.

  • I wouldn't call North Korea the most pitiful country on Earth. Look up the definition of pitiful and I believe many African nations are more deserving, because the people have relative freedom and are still incapable of progressing beyond a very basic and paleolithic life.

  • How it is possible this masquerade? All those people look like puppets in a one men show entertainment program....WTF?

  • "this is what I call art"?

this is what I call forced indoctrination.

  • Hey, there's a foreign leader visiting---and its the former Chinese president, Jiang Zemin at 2:12

  • I long hope that these people will get freedom.

  • The most pitiful country on Earth thinks it's the greatest... this is scary.

  • @TheMrClamberto Yah, cause they don't let any of their people out of the country, making them think their the best.

  • Look at 1:46; there are no spectators. Tens of thousands of people performing for a near-empty stadium.

  • Is that his daughter to the way left at 2:13?

  • @calculations123456 He doesn't have any daughters.

  • @mojeda117 Yeah he does...her name is Kim Sul-song (look it up) and she apparently is not videotaped often (or maybe even at all) that's why I asked if that was her

  • next to Kim jong il is the fomer presidente of PRC??? is Jiang Zemin? he looks way more exeiting!

  • Very impressive: there is nothing quite like it outside DPRK.

  • @etiennedauphin It looks like a nightmare to me, like 1984, where everyone has to pretend to be happy all the time. How. fucking. creepy.

  • now this is what I call art

  • @noobmovieesthis is a lot but definatly no art. because art is the freedom to do what you want...

  • Comment removed

  • This was taken before 2003.

  • And the award for the most "ant-like" people in the world goes to...North Koreans!

  • Probably, you said; now, about that sham, start by believing nobody;

now, go by yourself, take Google Earth, and start on one side of the country by taking a birds eye flight.

You can sart on the west side coast; start by going North (most Google pictures are otf bad quality, sometimes filtered and many times outdated and, sometimes, reversed as historic VS actual or most recent. Anyway, as I said, go and take a good look all over. It will take you, not weeks but months. Engoy, and come back!

  • These games are just the "cherry" on top of the "cake" that makes up the leadership and peoples´ development processes; whatever they they do, under this leadership, these young people are always ready to defend their country.

  • @jsnovais1000 While the bulk of the people participating in the "Mass Games" are probably among the more patriotic and privileged of the North Korean populace, a significant number of North Koreans recognise that Kim Jong Il's programmes are a sham, for they experience the North Korean reality daily.

  • @shzywansui Probably, you said; now, about that sham, start by believing nobody; now, go by yourself, take Google Earth, and start on one side of the country by taking a birds eye flight. You can sart on the west side coast; start by going North (most Google pictures are otf bad quality, sometimes filtered and many times outdated and, sometimes, reversed as historic VS actual or most recent. Anyway, as I said, go and take a good look all over. It will take you months. Engoy, and come back to me!

  • @shzywansui Oh! I forgot: then, before coming to me, take a look at my country and compare both -tit for tat - and, if you know anything about agriculture, urbanism or civil engineering, etc., tell me what you have found— Look, I`m not hiding from anybody; I don´t need, anyway! I´ll be waiting for you .

  • @jsnovais1000 I've looked at the DPRK on Google Maps plenty, thanks.

For instance, Yodŏk prison camp is located at coordinates 39°40'17.47"N, 126°51'9.53"E.

Of course, I've seen the country myself, so I don't really get what you're asking.

  • Okay so it's called the mass games but what games do they play?

  • @MrScotia It's not actually called the Mass Games, I wonder who started using that phrase.... It's the Mass Gymnastic and Art Performance. There are no games.

  • @shzywansui Thanks for that, that's what I thought. Looks like a great spectacle but I can't help thinking the people involved were forced into it.

  • @MrScotia From a North Korean perspective, performing would be a great honour. Competeition to perform is extremely intense, and many are not accepted (even if they have performed in the past), so I wouldn't call it coercion. If you want to know more about it, watch the documentary State of Mind.

  • @tiredofsuburbia

The UN allots food to North Korea, what the NK govt does with it though...

  • DOES IT REALLY FEEL GOOD WHEN PEOPLE ARE CHEERING AT YOU BECAUSE YOU ORDERED THEM TO? IMAGINE WHAT IF A STADIUM FULL OF OPPRESSED PEOPLE DECIDE THAT THEY'VE HAD IT AND THE ONLY REASON FOR FREEDOM AND PROGRESS IS TO GET RID OF THAT ASSHOLE RIGHT THERE WATCHING LIKE BORED.

  • @MrPinaka He is under no illusions; he knows it's fake and he doesn't particularly enjoy these displays. Nevertheless, he can't just stop having them.

  • Who needs a multi-million dollar plasma screen when the peasants can be the pixels! LOL!

  • May Day Stadium is the biggest stadium in the world in terms of capacity I believe.

  • 어떻게 세상이 색깔 변경하실 수 있습니다!

  • Kim Jong doesn't really seem to care or to be impressed at all. Did he plan this or did the citizens plan it? Or maybe his advisors?

  • @cloudu8 Apparently, Kim Jong Il really doesn't enjoy ceremonies like this all that much. He's somewhat of a recluse in general, unlike his father. He's only said one sentence in public (영웅적 조선인민군 장병들에게 영광 있으라!), and it only got broadcast by accident. It's a good question, I wonder who does plan these ceremonies. They've been around since Kim Il Sung's time, and Kim Jong Il knows he can't just stop them (for propaganda purposes). In any case, they're the best in the world.

  • now use that power and take control over your country, girls and boys!

we all know you wanna taste a burger ^^

  • And communism is not 50:50 between people. It is, when implemented in the real world: "You get what we tell you". At least capitalism gives people a chance to make their own fate.

And even people living in "poverty" in the west have a much better and wealthier existence than people in NK.

  • @digitalcrypt I feel sorry for you, giving that you are such an ignorant person. You have grown up in a capitalist propaganda society, and there is no such thing as "human nature". You can implement whatever you want in someones mind, such as making Kim Jong Il a godlike status in North Korea. As for North Korea I denounce their view of "communism" as it has tiny levels of equality and great oppression.

  • @digitalcrypt Perhaps if you'd tried to imagine a world without racism, poverty or economical downfall you could see that communism is a great idea after all. Every single person in Cuba has rights AND access to food, shelter, health care, education, work, and transportation. What makes America and other capitalist countries so great is because they have loads of money, yet all of them are in debt. America for instance has a debt of 9 trillion, almost everything they make a year.

  • @digitalcrypt So while you enjoy living in a country with nothing but money that doesn't belong to you I can sit back and enjoy the social security of communism, should it ever spread again. Communism wouldn't hold 66% of the whole world's coverage if it had been a bad idea. The people implement communism, you can't just make a government one.

  • See that picture at the back?.... Say hello to 20,000 school children!

  • god damn how many ppl are we talkin about here? this is wild

  • I hate socialism of North Koreaa, I hate capitalism of USA... God bless modest countries and nations!

  • hopeless death camp nation whole shit

  • @tiredofsuburbia yea, americans need to leave so that they can fix their problems. too much westernized stuff in south korea, not good!

  • @evanswebdesignnz

That "westernized stuff" in South Korea is the reason that life is South Korea is so much better than in North Korea.

I have a better idea: How about if North Korea was to abandon their dictatorship and join the rest of the modern world? That would be the best outcome for the people living there now, for the people living in South Korea, and for people living in the rest of the world.

  • @digitalcrypt They said that about the Soviet Union too. Now 89% of the whole population who grew up during the USSR say the days before Gorbachev were better than they are now. The rest are people who profited and got their hands on oil, gas and other natural resources.

And the reason why South Korea is so much "better" is because they have a strong ally in America, while North Korea lost USSR.

  • @arthaskiller

It is a well-known cognitive bias to look at the "good old days" and overlook the negatives of years/decades ago, and emphasize the negatives of the present. I know people that think life was SO much better before PC's, cell phones, and the Internet. But, strangely enough, they do not give them up.

And no alliances for SK and NK would have made a difference, unless the systems of NK/SK themselves changed. Communism dooms NK to be what it is today, regardless of anything else.

  • @digitalcrypt You can't blame Communism for whatever has happened to North Korea. That's like saying slavery is great because America prospered on it. Sure, there were negative things abou the U.S.S.R. too, but would you rather have a job and not able to leave the country, or be homeless, unemployed and robbed because there aren't enough police officers in the streets? Lack of liberty is merely more surveillance to make sure people don't do crimes.

  • @arthaskiller

Your post was based off of the false dilemma fallacy.

And you are fooling yourself if you think there was no poverty in the USSR, and that there is none in Cuba and NK. They have even had famine in North Korea within the past 20 years. So along with no freedom, no chance to live with modern tools and entertainment, and no chances to pursue your own happiness as you see fit, you also get shortages of food, medicine, and have poor housing.

    Communism: the worst of everything.

  • @digitalcrypt You seem to not understand a friggin thing about communism. If there is poverty in a communist state it can barely be called one. In Cuba everyone is on the same level. North Korea is far from communism, it is in fact the worst sort of capitalism you can imagine, with few people owning everything while the rest starve.

    Communism: 50:50 between people

    Capitalism: 75:25

I assume you're from a rich capitalist family and fail to see capitalism is what brings poverty.

  • @arthaskiller

Communism is such a worthless idea from the start that it is not possible to implement in a large scale in the real world. It can only work on a small scale where a small number of people desire to voluntarily participate.

But for large governments, places like NK are the closest possible someone can get to communism. Human nature takes over, and most people do not want to live in even a pure version of communism.

  • If anyone could one-up the China's opening ceremony at the Beijing Olympics, it would be North Korea

  • The monumental prick doesn't even seem to be enjoying it. I guess it takes a lot to impress a 'god'. What a bastard...

  • @tiredofsuburbia They are suffering because of Kim Jong-Il's government. That is all.

  • está el presidente de corea del sur en el palco...parece que Kim no esta nada contento jajjaajajajja

  • What is the name of the songs that play during this act?

  • @MeNotThatKindofOrc the first one is "Song of General Kim Jong-il"

  • @jxhensley

    Thank you

  • @ 0.02 OMG Why is my giant penis being tag teamed by a scythe and mallet?

  • Fuck Comunism ! I am romanian ...and Romania she was Comunism country

  • @madalinstelistu1990 i come from former czechoslovakia and i share your opinion on that crap regime .. DEATH TO ALL BOLSHEVIKS .. GO SOUTH KOREA !!!!

  • @KUBZ12345 of course...GO SOUTH KOREA and fuck China and Russian Federation !

  • Does the music at 2:35 remind anyone else of Pokemon?

  • While the message behind this is a horrible one, the hards work and talent of these performers is evident. Amazing.

  • 2:41

Holy crap, look at the indifference in his face. Imagine that you witnessed this live.. wouldn't you smile, at least to be courteous? What a total nutjob that guy is. But I guess if you have that kind of power, can do whatever you want to, order anyone to do anything, is completely untouchable by the outside world, and everyone seriously believes you are a god... then everything must become very indifferent. Like.. "Nah, I wont smile, what does it matter?"

    Oh well, I'm done ranting...

  • NK guys, you know you are FUCK ed ! Play with you're nuke's and see what happen's !

We have been waiting for the last 60 year's ! Do something ! (USN Battle Carrier Group off you're coast ) We will go nuke !

  • @djmatts1 shut up stupid american - you need to go to north korea and see it for your self.

no knowledge + no understanding = Many American People these days

  • @evanswebdesignnz You guy's are still fucking around ! Shell an American base in SK and see what happen's or better yet go after the USN Carrier Battle Group that's going to be of your shore soon ! The world is watching ! Do something !

  • Comment removed

  • The only good socialist is a dead socialist.

  • Damn it, why does ANY video about Hitler or Stalin or Kim-Jon-Il or any other insane dictator have to attract people who support those nutjobs? Can't I just watch this in peace without having to read the comments of people who think fascist dictatorships are a good thing?

  • Arwid, mediocre troll 8/10

  • 6:26 lol i tot hanja was banned in nk?

  • 創価学会と同じだわ

  • I love this group dance!!!!

  • @tiredofsuburbia I'd Blame the Soviets more than the West because the Communist goverment was put in place by Joseph Stalin and the west wanted the whole peninsula to be like the South
