Ultimecia is tops in my list of favorite FF villains for one thing: Her desire for omnipotence. True, all other FF villains were pretty much after the same thing, and her way of doing it wasn't as devastating as say, Kefka in FFVI, but the concept of it was AWESOME.

As for "end-game" final fantasy bosses, she is the hardest to beat. This form of her is pretty easy, no offense to the poster, but the next form gives her the option to syphon your junctioned magic possibly reducing your hp to 200-ish. Afterwards, she can one shot you.

As for Ultimecia, she wanted to use Time Compression to compress all time to a single era and by being at the center in which time is compressed, she could gain the power to create and run the universe according to however she liked. She's a pretty goddamn good villain if you ask me. Not as high as the ones who wanted to destroy everything but pretty close. The Emperor (FFII) was pretty much the same as Ulti, he wanted to rule over everythingl. Compare these villains to Mamma's Boy. -.-

Okay I posted my comment so long ago that I forgot what this was about so..sorry if I'm wrong. I love Ultimecia. She's one of the best FF villains to me. But eh.. between the her and the other FF villains who wanted to decimate everything, I think the latter is much eviler. What keeps her from seeming much more sinister than the "Destroy-All" villains is that she had a motive to rule over everything - to protect herself. The other villains destroyed just for the sake of meaningless destruction.

Dude out of all of the FF villains (excluding 12), Sephiroth probably had one of the weakest (not in terms of power) and lowest tier villains. Sephy wanted to be one with a planet...SO WHAT?!! Kuja from FFIX DESTROYED a planet (Sounds more villain-like if you ask me). Kefka (FFVI), CoD (FFIII), Exdeath (FFV) wanted to destroy EVERYTHING. Seymour (FFX) kinda falls under the same category as Sephiroth, he wanted to kill everyone in Spira but...eh...no kinda a weak villain.

yeah if you scan Griever it tells you - Griever is a summon that is represented in squall's mind or something but if you rename the ring it actually renames the boss.

zell doing booya and punch rush super quickly = ultimate one man win. if zell has 255 str and his ultimate weapon each duel move can do around 7000-9000 damage. and by quickly hittin the commands of those 2 should only take away 0.06 seconds really. by doing that within 20 seconds times the 7000-9000 damage. in one full second zell shoiuld have 20 hits in between would give u around 40,000-60,000 damage per second easily making zell the most overkill char in ff8.

your not doing many damage with zell, buy items that give u +1 strength (don't know the name anymore) do that over and over until u got 255 strength, zell will do around the 7000 - 8000 damage with a single attack, same for all the other characters..

i don't remb any items that gave +1 to stats...i only remb that you could junction cactaur and use its Level stat+ ability thing to let your characters gain bonus stats whenever he/she leveld up. i just gave squall 255 str with junctions and used lionheart all the time.

it's funny you should say that... you can't exactly keep all characters at 9999 HP on this game, have you played it? Junctioning system... you can only have three characters at 9999 HP. The others you switch in. Unless you're talking about w/ the HP 80% things you put on the GFs, if that's the case then I'm sorry. I didn't think ahead.

I think its best if you did a PERFECT level playthrough with Final Fantasy X. VIII is too easy to complete, but i noticed you didn't complete the card quest, which in my opinion is more annoying and challenging than Omega. Omega weapon was just too easy even without the invincibility.

yeh, i would have but i use meltdowns when i need them... i knew it wouldn't be needed, but for the Ultimecia/Griever fight I use meltdown, also for the final Ultimecia battle.
