i consider youtube views the same as record sale for music artist, if they start to go down, (even if they are still high), then there something you need to change about the videos. ive follow these vids from the begining and notice the view count go down tremendously, 300,000 something to i think the lowest was 30,000 something, and in between the numbers have fluxuated, something must be missing if that is happening in such a dramatic fashion, but its up to you to figure that out brother...

My suggestion is to get to the content sooner. The most important part of a video in terms of capturing viewers' interest is actually the first few seconds.

So, if someone is discovering you for the first time and all they hear is talk for a minute or so, you may lose that viewer forever.

If that was the case then I would be able to have as many subscribers as you.
