  • utd's way out of every argument is 'you live in the past', uhm yea because every trophy that has ever been won has been in the past, like the 19 titles you have won, they're in the past... retards

  • It's only a game Alan!

  • whens the next fucking plane gonna wipe out the utd team again!

  • @guitarreilly, your an idiot. Do us all a favor and go kill yourself spouting off crap like that.

  • loserpool have a new sponsor for next season. The History Channel.

  • i bet that was hurting him

  • Liverpool have a great history but its exactly that history. It's quite a long time since they manged a league.

  • Alan Hansen - LEGEND

  • Hansen clearly didn't like United breaking Liverpool's old record.

  • NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA !!!!! BEL19VE

  • calm down united fans, you may have more league titles than us but we are still the most successful club in england

  • @elzino9 explain how? United have more major trophies than Liverpool

  • Comment removed

  • @SavatageBeast most reputable competition = european cup/ champions league.

    liverpool have 5 cls.

    man utd have 3 cls.

Hmm.. now which do you think is better?

What a tough one... 5 is more than 3, you dumb manc cunt.

  • @oDannnYx European teams all would rather win their domestic league than the champions league, that includes liverpool.

So what you're saying is stupid. You silly little prick.

  • @SavatageBeast Umm.. no they wouldn't! :L

Silly little prick? Hahaha oh dear.

The champions league is the biggest competition.

Hahahahaha, naughty little 12 year old.

  • Comment removed

  • @SavatageBeast No. The champions league is THE HARDEST ONE TO WIN, you absolute tool.

I bet you live in Southampton and support Man United.. glory hunting prick.

The champions league involves the best teams IN THE WORLD. The domestic competition involves the best teams in your COUNTRY.

Everyone knows this except deluded manc cunts like yourself.

Enjoy your runners up premier league finishes whilst you can - you have no future, no ambition.

As soon as Fergie's dead/retired, the scum will fall.

  • @oDannnYx Loserpool in the 80s considered the domestic league more important now that youre no hopers in the league and we've pissed on your record you have to lurch for your europe record and now claim THAT is more important

    YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC LOL

keep living in the 80s you stupid cunt and we'll keep enjoying knocking you off your perch : )

  • @SavatageBeast HAHAHAHAH!

Not gonna reply anymore as I think you are just embarrassing yourself.

You know nothing, REPEAT - NOTHING, about football if you would seriously rather win the epl than the champions league.

    You're blocked. Now grow up.

  • @oDannnYx if you asked bob paisley, shankly, joe fagan, kenny dalglish, graeme souness, roy evans, houllier, benitez and roy hodgson what theyd rather win. the league or europe ALL OF THEM would say THE LEAGUE. Fact.

Liverpool fans like to revise history and cling to euro cup glory cos its all they have.

  • @SavatageBeast Not true at all :L

I can see I'm going to get nowhere with biased manc cunts like yourself, so I'll just leave this here.

  • @SavatageBeast 5 times

  • @hunkyfunkyjunky league is more important pal

  • @SavatageBeast Loserpool? You must be at least 8 years old tough man

  • @oDannnYx (Swans fan) Liverpool have 4 European Cups, Man U have 1... Liverpool have 1 Champions League, Man U have 2... They changed the format in the early 90's to group stages etc... Became harder to win as if the bigger sides had a bad spell in the old format they were possibly OUT. With the new CL format they could easily pick their form back up and stay in. But who am I to say anything as a Swansea fan? Be another decade before we win the CL!!

  • @elzino9 wrong I'm afraid. and your not exactly going to overtake utd anytime soon are you..

  • @lgisgod, lso SAF like any other manager in any sports brings in players to compete for spots. Example when Chicharito came in he challeneged Berbatov and Rooney for their spot. When Chicharito scored Rooney had to raise his game and then Barbatov fizzled and guess who starting now. The same goes with Nani played well and then he starting to decline and guess who took over Valencia. In any sport if you get hurt and someone else plays better than you your going to be sitting on the bench.

  • @lgisgod, the great part about United is that during January on that's where we turn it on. City still has to play Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham, and we ahve already played all of them once and won 3 and tied Liverpool. Whoever SAF gets at midfield I trust him because look how well getting Chicharito got us. Still it makes it really uncomfortable to watch Rooney play midfield. The thing with United is that we got plenty of money to spend. Yes, we got debt but its how you manage it.

  • @lgisgod, whatever SAF does I trust him. I mean 25 years and trophies and trophies later I trust him on most judgements. He's made few bad transfers in Vernon or Barthiez or finding a replacement before Van Der Sar, but he'll get someone good, especially an attacking midfielder that can shoot outside the box like Scholes used to do. Fletcher and Carrick aren't attacking midfielders and Anderson can't shoot outside the box.

  • @lgisgod, your right they got the right blend of young experienced players and it worked out. If they can get someone else close to Scholes ability it's going to be very hard to beat United once players like Jones and Smalling play more. Also United weathered out teams like Arsenal, Chlsea who bought the players, and now City. United is very resilient. Kind of reminds me of Barca. By 2008 they replaced a lot of veterans with young players and look how great they have become.

  • @lgisgod, your right they will be a star and that's what makes SAF a great manager. He finds young great talent and throws them in. Unlike Wegner he doesn't get rid of all the veterans to have a presence and leadership. That's why when someone goes down there is always someon eto step up.

  • United 2 Liverpool 1 on Champions leagues..... European Cup?? Sorry I'm not old enough to remember what that was

  • @lamejorliga Stop being pathetic it's 5-3 to Liverpool when it comes to European Cups, the champions league is just a different name and format still the same bloody trophy, getting a bit desperate there......2-1 lol

  • @5eurocups2005

maybe when it comes to european cups but everything else united have done better than liverpool, premier league, fa cup, super cup, club world cup, community shield, cup winners cup.

  • @ra3orblad3 You never mentioned Uefa Cups or League Cups, come to think of it you have only won 1 European Super Cup we have won 3 and you have never won the Uefa Cup and we do hold the record with the most League Cups

  • i could watch super blue scouser scoring that penalty against blackburn over and over again. The contradiction of it is the best part. somethings a kid never forgets 1. may 1993, au revoir Cantona and co. come back when you win 18.

    2. its been 26 years since you got one it'll be another 26 till you get another

3 a proud scottish twat saying you win jack with kids. all true MAN UTD fans who went through this and further back to late89 when we went13 without a win calin 4 fergies head cherish dis

  • @aprc1977a Hwere do u get 26 you gloryhunting twat?! Get ur facts right! idiot!

  • @bornAtruePERSIAN WHATS YOUR POINT I CANT UNDERSTAND YOUR SPELLING IF YOUR A LIVERPOOL SUPPORTER YOU'LL UNDERSTAND EXACTLY "ITS BEEN 26 YEARS SINCE YOU GOT ONE, IT'LL BE 26 TILL YOU GET ANOTHER" LET ME EDUCATE YOU- WHEN MAN. UNITED WON THE LEAGUE IN 1992-93 IT WAS 26 YEARS SINCE WE LAST WON IT IN 1967 THIS WAS A FAMOUS QUOTE LIVERPOOL FANS USED TO TAUNT US WITH AND SADLY IT BLEW UP IN THEIR FACE COZ WE WENT ON TO KNOCK THEM OFF THEIR PERCH. DO YOU UNDERSTAND NOW. WANT ANYMORE FACTS?

  • @aprc1977a I'm well aware of that, I thought you meant that we haven't gotten one in 26, no need to get all Manc on me!

  • @bornAtruePERSIAN your obviously only a kid otherwise you would have understood exactly what this quote meant. I was following united when ron atkinson was the manager and Liverpool were the top team in England. Believe me i'm no gloryhunter I just know what it was like to follow Man. United when they were on their knees thats why I cherish so dearly every trophy we win because it wont last forever.

  • Let me say this, i'm no manchester united fan I actually support Chelsea but it was a beautiful moment when Man united overtook Liverpool as the most successful domestic club in england. We finally have a club to be proud of as the leaders of our national sport. And if you liverpool fans don't like it tough shit!

  • @criartoros Giggs is not "Englands most decorated player" as you put it. he is Welsh

  • It`s pathetic how you can revert to stadium sizes etc makes me laugh. Stick to the facts, Liverpool held the record of England`s most successfull football club for 20 years, United have held (debatable) it for 1 year. To earn true legendary status as a club, Utd have to hold that recored for 20 years like Liverpool did.

  • pace movement desire!

  • I'm a liverpool fan but even i admit that United deserve to be where they are right now. We've just got to focus on ourselves and make ourselves better. If we can get top four this season at least we have a start.

  • Scousers know that the only thing that they can hold onto is 2005 and the 70's and 80's because with United dominating they got nothing else. Face it, United is their cup final for Liverpool. United is already building their next generation of players with Young, Cleverley, Anderson, Nani, Jones, Chicharito, De Gea, etc. One thing SAF has always done is no one is bigger than the club. Those who challenge him were gone and players took their places. United has so much depth its ridiculous.

  • @redmustang03 nothing lasts forever

  • @redmustang03 yeah but SAF only managed to get United dominating when Kenny left Liverpool. I'm not saying now that Kenny's back that everythings gonna go back to the 70's and 80's but at the time United wouldn't have turned into what they are now if Liverpool had kept Kenny. Liverpool would have kept dominating.

  • @19Wylds95, come on you know as just as I that Liverpool by the early 90's were getting old. Hansen retired, Rush was getting old, Grobbelaar was old. They didn't have the defense yet. Remember Kenny quit himself, no one pushed out, he quit on his own. Also, United had their chance 1991 to win but choked by Easter, we all know they had the players in 1992, just couldn't get over the hump until they got Cantona. Liverpool has a long way to go to be at United's level of winning.

  • @redmustang03 of course, Kenny left as a result of Hillsborough, 96 funerals can have that affect on someone. I agree we have a long way to go now to be at Uniteds level again, maybe we're gradually getting there, bit by bit. My point is, Kenny would have replaced those players, as SAF has done with his united side, time and time again.

  • @19Wylds95, he never said that he retired of it but what happened at Hillsbrough did play at part in his way to view so in a way yes the HIllsborough disaster did cause him to retire. The one thing I do see what United has that very teams in the EPL have done this season is depth..We have lost due to injury at least 9 people and at one point our entire back line were hurt. They still were able to win or at least tie those games. Now come Saturday its going to be interesting to see what happen

  • As I said United have very young players that can be good for 5 to 7 years. Like 1995, United had young players, but they also had veterans to help mentor these guys. The same thing happened in 1995,2007, and now 2011. Now concerning Saturday. Anything could happen. Just because one team wins doesn't mean the war is one. The battle for that day may be, but there still is a lot left in the season

  • @redmustang03 Yeah i totally agree mate, I personally feel liverpool are gonna get spanked at old trafford so i feel we could nick a win at our home ground because this is our best chance to beat man u. My point is that i feel Kenny could have done what Fergie did with his United team and is still doing, replacing and nuturing through players. We have now way of knowing now, though. I completely agree with everything else you said and credit to Fergie for what he said about Hillsborough chants.

  • @19Wylds95, with the Istanbul chants with Leeds or the Munich with United, that's just stupid. The problem with United is that our back line is getting back from injury Vidic, Rio, Smalling. If you don't take your chances like Norwich had then you'll give United chances. Teams like that you got to beat into the ground and you can't give them one single inch. With Fergie he had 6 years to mold that team when he came in 1996 before what happened in 92. Kenny has had less than a year.

  • @19Wylds95, before that, Kenny hadn't coached in 11 years since 2000 Celtic. So it's going to take some time. I still believe that Liverpool will be in the top 4 with United, Chelsea, and City.

  • @redmustang03 well that's all i expect from them this year, it's a start isn't it? Kennys had little time but he has been given a lot of money. I feel Liverpool's going in the right direction finally, the thing is there are about 6 teams challenging for that top four so its more difficult than it ever was just to get into the champions league. Well good luck for the match tomorrow, well i should say today, shold be a great game. Hopefully next season Liveprool will be going for the title. :)

  • @19Wylds95, I've seen what lack of money does to a team. The Texas Rangers (baseball) and Dallas Stars (hockey) all suffered because of debt of Tom Hicks. When they sold the teams they became winners. Money is great and no debt or with United managing it, but what happens at the top ie owners, management that determines what happens at the bottom. As much as I dislike the Glazers, they did one thing right, leave United to the soccer guys and they did get more sponsorship. Continue

  • @19Wylds95, still its management that helps create environment for the fans and players. Luckily to get to the top 4, you still have time but as for top clubs they always want to shoot higher. I'll enjoy waking up at 6:30 am where I live to watch the game tomorrow for me.

  • @criartoros, then you have United overall titles 98 to Liverpool 96. Overall, in the last 20 years United has been the most successful in England. Was more successful last year and we the young players of the future. Yes City destroyed them 6-1, but that's just one game. Liverpool had their runs in the 70's and 80's, but now United has dominated since then. Their record has shown it, the trophies have shown it, the popularity around the world has shown it. There is a big reason cont

  • @criartoros, there is a big reason why United has been the most popular, valuable, and successful club in the last 20 years. There is a huge reason why United can expand Old Trafford compare to 20 years ago while you Liverpool can't even expand Anfield or even get a new fucking stadium.

  • @redmustang03 But Alex Ferguson isn't getting any younger is he, 70 in December i believe.

  • @5eurocups2005, who cares. He's still just as good when he was 60 years old. When he does eventually retire the only replacement I see is The Special One. Both have mutual respect for each other. Both have similar styles of aggressive management and little bit of arrogance more with the Special One. Even SAF said that the Special One reminded him of when he was younger.

  • @redmustang03 Whatever manager you get it will never be the same at Manchester United, your club will become unstable for the first time since the 80s because Alex has been so successful over the years that he was unsackable and rightly so and for the first time since the 80s you will be sacking managers more often and plus you have the massive debt hanging over you.

  • @5eurocups2005, SAF won't leave United looking unstable like when Souness took over for Kenny there won't be a lot of older players taking the team down. Also with that debt issue, companies have debt almost all the time, its how you manage it. As much as I don't like the Glazers they have raised a lot of revenue through the kit sponsorship, the new training kit sponsorship, and selling stocks on the Singapore market to lower the debt.

  • @5eurocups2005, also your the one to talk about ownership. Come on with Hicks and Gillette running your team into the ground and having that debt until the Red Sox's bought you. Your still stuck at Anfield even though you being trying for years to build a new stadium. At least the Glazers step out of the way and let United management do what they are paid to do and is to run the team successfully.

  • @5eurocups2005 what Like Real Madri and until recently Barca who change their managers every summer, They are still fine and challenge on all fronts every season. Utd are in that bracket. Liverpool aren't even in the same bracket as Spurs anymore.. Sad but true.

  • @redmustang03 agreed but heres another statement which is true - every dog has its day. Liverpool dominated 70's and 80's. ManU dominated the Prem years. Real Madrid had a period, now its been barca for like 4 to 5 years. Milan ran the 80's, then Juventus where Italy's powerhouse, then Inter took over. in our life time you will be witness to change again. I just hope its the change us liverpool fans want.

  • @kurupt06, still for Liverpool fans, you got to stop blowing it against the easy teams. I mean 6 ties at home and most of it to the easy teams that's unacceptable. You can't tie against Wigan or Blackburn at home. It's the same thing year in and year out you do bad in Dec and your out of the title race by Jan. The same thing this year goes for Chelsea, still until you stop blowing it against the easy teams then you can challenge United. Still its going to be United and City for

  • @kurupt06, the title this year. Concerning the CL, United is in transition and we all know that just the question when will Barca's dominance end? Will Pep got English football? There's a lot of questions to be answered over the next few years. For United what I put on the top with the names, those guys all got hurt. Its just how you deal with ose injuries and hope you have enough depth so that you don't sink. For Liverpool, its about consistency. You beat Chelsea then tie Wigan.

  • @redmustang03 There's no arguing with that statement mate. Totally on the money, but even if you have a bad Dec period if you go on a winning streak like what Liverpool did in the 08\09 season then we could find ourselves in a better spot than we are now. That's what happened then; had a crap Dec, went on a crazy winning ru and ended up second.

  • @kurupt, yeah you only did lose 2 games that you and you did beat us twice handley, but then again you did tie 6 times at home and that's what brought you down. The same goes with United in 2009/2010, tied at Ewood Park against Blackburn, lost out by 1 point to Chelsea. So any game that you lost or tied could always come back to haunt you. It's always you better hope the team in front or behind you do bad as well. Like today, I want you guys to beat or at least tie City.

  • @redmustang03 anderson is shite

  • @redmustang03 pipe down mate, hardly building generation of players are you, in that case city have built theirs, just with cash classic manc scum

and anderson jones and de gea are appauling..

  • @sammjw2k8, even though United has lost twice in a row, there still 3 points behind as of Jan 5th. They are in transition this year, but we all know once most of these players get the experience United are going to be a very dangerous team like they have always been.

  • @redmustang03 what a joke of a comment

1 you bought most of your titles

2 in 89 years, LFC had 18 league titles and in 113 years we had 5 champions league titles. in 133 years you got your 19th and was still stuck on 3 champions league

3 have you seen Liverpools U18 team? and Anderson, Jones and De gea are crap (and all bought, along with the other players you named)

4 currently, you are better than us but overalll youve been wank

    enjoy the Glazers

  • @localtortoise bought most come on we know which young players to get like Ronaldo and Rooney. We have the greatest players in the EPL that came from United like Scholes, Giggs, Neville, Beckham. We have our next generation yes some may be bought we have a our players that will be very dangerous. Your just jealous because we been the best team in the last 20 years. SAF keeps changing with the times and because of that we win.

  • @redmustang03 scholes just came back but isnt that good any more, giggs isnt that good anymore, ive never liked neville but hes retired anyway and Beckhams gone, but what about players like Van Der Sar, Cantona, Van nistelroy, Rooney...

all come through your youth ranks did they? every united player at City today but giggs, scholes and Welbeck were bought, and Giggs and Scholes arent really first team any more

  • @localtortoise, we'll see you guys again in three weeks. I don't Scholes back either but I'm not SAF. Plus also you bought a lot of players too to get your trophies in Keegan, Daglish, Heighway, etc. Great teams know how to scout talent and bring in the right no matter the cost. Look at Liv, they bought more players than United has ever done and still have a crap result in the league. United is great because we get the right young players with the veteran talent.

  • @localtortoise, some players like Barthez or Veron haven't worked out, but overall United has done very well in bringing the right players. With people like Scholes,Nevile, Butt, Neville Brothers, Beckham, Giggs you won't see anything come out like that in youth academy ever again. You can criticize United all you want, that just shows how jealous teams are to emulate their winning ways. Winning ways in 2 CL, 5 FA Cups, 3 League Titles, and 12 EPL titles in 21 years.

  • Comment removed

  • @redmustang03, 4 league cups I meant.

  • @redmustang03 "united has done very well in bringing the right players"

Thats what im saying, most of your titles were bought, usually with stupid money

oh, and our youth academy seems to be doing very well actually with future prospects such as Connor Coady and Raheem Sterling and has recently produced players deemed likely for the England lineups of the future, for example, Martin Kelly and Adam Morgan, we also have 2011's young Copa America player of the tournament in our youth ranks

  • @localtortoise, well I guess buying Daglish with stupid money for your 4 European Champiionships was stupid too. Give me a break. That's great you have a good youth system so does United and other teams too. What matters is the senior team the team you have right now. Until you start beating the lower teams consistently which haven't done the last few years, you will never ever knock United off its perch in the league ever. 6 ties especially at home doesn't cut it.

  • @redmustang03 actually most of our titles (70's, 80's and that kind of thing) were done with locally produced talent and people who we managed to get before they had developed themselves as a professional elsewhere, just like Man U in the Matt Busby era. the 05 CL, that was done with money and so was the FA cup in 06 but if Man U stayed on an average budget in comparison to what Liverpool did, you wouldn't have won half the trophies that you have won in the Fergie era

  • @localtortoise Actually,L'pool have spent way more money than United ever since like 1998.I know for a fact Benitez spent a net sum of 80m more than Fergie.Ferguson seems to bring in 1-2 signings a summer, and 1 big signing every 3-4 years [only real BIG ones are Rooney,Veron -.-,Drugee-Rio and Berbaflop]

  • @IrishRu5T like i said the 05 CL and 06 FA cup was done with money, the majority of our titles weren't, Man Utd can't say the same

  • @localtortoise Hmm,the babes were all pretty much from Manchester [tommy taylor cost a chunk tho]. The holy trinity side cost a bit all right but still wasnt ridiculous spending. Its ironic that all our best players actually cost nothing or v.little - Charlton,Edwards,Best,Whelan,McGrath,Irwin,Schmeichael,Scholes,Neville,Giggs,Becks,Vidic....even the likes of Ronaldo and Jones look like bargains in the modern transfer market.....

  • @IrishRu5T yeah i know, i didn't say all of your titles, i said most of them, the busby babes won about 3 league titles, youve won 12 since the 90's and 7 since 2000's and most 1st league teams from roughly that time period onwards did not produce their own players(including Liverpool (although there are quite a few players there now who are from the youth ranks)

  • @localtortoise, I almost forgot your team is imploding with Suarez and now Stuart Downing punching his ex-girlfriend. We have our situation with Rooney and our injuries and the same thing happened last year we end up knocking off your perch, getting to the Champions League and making it to the semi's in the FA Cup. Pretty good for a team that had all that distractions and conflict.

  • @localtortoise United's youth team won the FA cup last year. you obviously dont know shit.

  • 5 European Cups. Never coming close to that fergie. Keep getting to your finals, nobody remembers 2nd place.

  • @InsomAz United are only ever going to get close to that and eventually overtake it. There the now and your the then. Something Liverpool fans just can't get into their head.

  • @JayDS1990 By getting your asses whooped by barca every year? Not gonna happen. Fergie's dream of establishing manu as an all time European great is never going to be realised. Only one great European team in this era and the only one that will catch the elite 3 (Madrid, Milan and Liverpool) who have gotten the honour of keeping the actual trophy and wearing the blue badge - and thats Barcelona.

  • @InsomAz Typical English anti Utd fan. Ur team just doesn't compare so once again u wave ur false Barca flag 2deal the verbal damage that ur english club can't dish out. The sheer fact that as a scouser u have 2bring up Barca 2fight ur battles 4u is basically suggesting L'pool r a shadow of Utd. I understand ur point, u have more European cups but perhaps u should realise, in my life time (i'm unsure how old you are) Utd have won 2 CHAMPIONS LEAGUES you have 1. Utd in the driving seat, u r not.

  • @JayDS1990 "I look at other great European clubs like Real Madrid, AC Milan, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Ajax and am always envious. I still have that jealousy of what they have achieved. " Alex Ferguson on 28 May 2011.

  • @JayDS1990, face those Scousers only cup final is United.

  • @InsomAz well the scousers never even make it far enough to face barca!barca is class no doubt and man utd are of that calibar and atleast united keep getting back up to fight another day and still win things.ask any barca player and they will tell you of there respect and admiration of the players and what the team stands for.they are privalleged to play against the best.and they know the score line can go either way on any given daywehave kept coming up will l'pool have cast in the shadows

  • @InsomAz They've won it twice since 1999 and absolutely dominated English Football for the past 20 years. Liverpool have fuck all on Man United.

  • alan hansen, suck it and keep sucking it

  • i don't it makes u sick or not but clearly look sick gunt

  • take that alan fuking hansen

  • hahaha 19 times GET IN!!!
