Here in Georgia we call this Bluegrass Gospel, and it is still played here in independent fundamental Baptist churches, as well as at local opry gatherings. First heard this in 1977 in Okinawa, Japan, played by a Bluegrass band consisting of American military personnel. This type of old fashioned soul-inspirational music, together with preaching from the King James Bible, is all that is required to encourage a life-changing experience by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ into one's life.
