@gator7293 Yes, but the engine are turbo propeller engines, so inside are turbines wich activate the propellers, this turines rotate in oposite direction of the propellers, so compensate the propeller´s torke.
@collectorfun The prop rotates the same direction as the trubines in the engine. There is a planetary gear reduction but it isnt to compensate for torque it is so the prop is not going as fast as the turbine rotors. If they go fast enough they will break the speed of sound and become way less efficient.
JA8900 This is a Saab 340B+ (no 378 of 459) and it can do with a repaint too since the paint looks faded. Look how good the paint is on the 777 behind.
A really nice regional transporter...Too bad they stopped building them in '98...Jets rule I guess...

hey PCORF, and JSYOO, its not a 767 or a 777, its an airbus A300

I think that the propel/rotorblades in most of the aircrafts is rotating counter-clockwise, just like here on Saab 340B. Do you think that is true?

the props on a saab340 rotate the same direction
gator7293 2 years ago
@gator7293 The turbos rotate in the other direction, so the torke is compensated

@collectorfun watch the video again, the props rotate in the same direction

This aren´t conventional piston engines.
